We felt so welcome in this hotel the care that was taken in all areas was very evident.
The Food was good the staff friendly and helpful .We were booked for 2nights and wished we were staying longer. the hotel is situated a a small pretty village in an area with so much to visit our room had long reaching views to the Chateau haut- Koenigsbourg.

Very comfortable and elegantly furnished room.
Multilingual (French, German and English), helpful and friendly staff.
Excellent dinner and breakfast (albeit a bit expensive at 12€ per head for the latter).

We stayed for 2 separate nights, to and from a trip to Austria. Lovely room, with balcony, overlooking the vineyards and castle. Sabine couldn't have been more helpful - we had a few minor issues which she sorted out very kindly, efficiently and generously. Would definitely recommend staying here - and it's worth paying a bit extra for a third or fourth floor room where the views are tremendous. The dinner was superb but, to be honest, we've had better breakfasts -as this is charged extra, it would probably be worth going into the nearby village of Ribeauville and sitting in a pavement cafe in the pedestrian area. Nevertheless, we would definitely return to this hotel.

We had a few lovely day at the hotel. the room was very nice and clean. I bit outdates - but a part of the alsace experience. the staff is fantastic and extremely helpful! we both needed a pair of scissors and an umbrella which they fixed right away. When we checked out we were offered some leftover croissant from the breakfast. very small things - but really goes to show that they care about the customers

This is our last night in this hotel. Don't know why it is the categorie of B&B's? The hotel is part of the "Relais du Silence" brand. And does feel like a true hotel....
Allthough we are a "younger" couple, we like a traditional and authentic atmosphere. Based on reviews and pictures on the internet, we booked this hotel for 4 nights.
We had suite nr 16 and it did had the atmosphere of the old Elzas! It doesn't look like it is "outdated". Everything is really clean: carpet, bathroom, wallpapers.... it is just old fashioned styling which we appreciate. And the bonus of a large balcony with stunning view on Ht. Koenigsbourg. The road can indeed by busy/noisy, but that is only during daytime. Between 21h and 8h it was quite and peaceful.
The breakfast is good. We had just 1 diner in the hotel (other days we were out for sight seeing) and that was also of good quality.
We had the luck the weather was extremely good, 35 degrees and clear blue sky. No airco on the room but that was not a problem.
A great location to explore the Elzas and surroundings.
