This place is terrible. in the middle of nowhere. I arrived at night and no one opened the door. I had to look for another place to sleep with my girlfriend at 11pm.
Furthermore, they are now refusing to give my money back.
TERRIBLE experience.

This is terrible dirty filty place, bathrooms were not clean, hallways and steps had dirt from a long time, no hot water no breaksfast, cold coffee. The administrations is the worst. Rooms were dirty.

This hotel is on the edge of town and up the mountain. As your near the top of the mountain, you will see the Chamana Waterfall and a cute, little covered bridge that leads you to the hotel's private entrance. Quiet and serene and away from the noise of the city, this hotel is a hidden find! Simple, cute and clean describes our room best. The hotel has a lovely pool, tree swings and a private trail up near the top of the waterfall. The lobby hosts several tables with board games. The restaurant is nice when you are too tired from travel to drive back into town. The breakfast includes fruit, bread and marmalade, eggs and a side. Coffee, hot chocolate, yogurt and juice. If you love tranquility and beauty and enjoy the sound of a waterfall, this is the place for you.

Just a short cab ride up into the hills outside of Banos. Quiet rooms with a nice sitting deck and view of the valley. Good friendly service. Large clean pool situated in a nice garden area. Good food at a reasonable price. Nice walk to a waterfall behind the hotel. Highly recommended.

Banos in Ecuador is a fascinating place...but with few really nice hotels. I stayed in Estancia de Dulcelina and I did the right choice: brand new, very elegant and clean, nice swimming pool and, most of all, the location: on the hills in a wonderful place, not too far not too close to Banos, sorrounded by forests and nature
