About a five-minute walk from the main piazzetta with entry through a beautiful, lush garden. Our room had several nice features: seaview terrace with table & chairs plus folding loungers, three layers of drapes (blackout, sheer and nice interior ones), two comfortable occasional chairs and a table, separation of the entry and bathroom with an interior door, high ceilings, good A/C, and it was quiet. The public areas were quintessentially Capri with archways and a nice indoor-outdoor integration. We felt this hotel was a very nice option for a stay on Capri.

We enjoyed a 3 night stay at Hotel 'A Pazzeilla. The location was great! We were able to walk to many fun locations. The breakfast was yummy and the service & staff friendly and helpful. We thought the hotel was clean & comfortable. Our room had a lovely balcony with a table & chairs. The only negative was that the walls between rooms seem to be paper thin. We could hear our neighbor talking, singing, flushing the toilet, etc. The over all hotel was quiet. The grounds were beautiful and a pleasant place to enjoy breakfast.
HINT: If you have larger suitcases, make sure you arrange for luggage porters to pick up and transport to/from hotel and marina. Even if you take a taxi, it's a bit of a long walk on cobblestone to hotel.

The hotel feels slightly old, but the rooms are spacious, the location is great and the service is friendly. The communications might not be totally perfect - the hotel advertises about being able to help with tours, but cannot help if you want a tour on land and not by boat. Another example is that we needed a taxi early in the morning to pick us up at the nearby square "Piazziata", but the hotel claimed it is not possible to pre-book a taxi. We did get one at the square, but the first thing the driver asked was whether we had made a reservation.

Staff were very friendly and helpful, if you’re looking for a masseuse, go with Lorenzo , who was recommended by the hotel. Location was great, close to walks to villa jovis, arche naturale, gardens and he main square.

The hotel is extremely dated. One of our rooms smelled like mold. No elevator so it is very nice of the porter to assist with our luggage. Capri has luggage porter that can help you with the luggage from ferry to this hotel. However we did not know as the hotel did not tell so we had to log our own luggage from ferry to the hotel through the cobble stones. Thus, I think their communication can definitely improved. The front desk and porter are very nice people and should get "5" stars. Unfortunately the hotel is just so old so my rating stays at 3. Great location as it is by all the shopping stores and have some fantastic restaurants.
