Stayed for three nights in October. I stayed in a very spacious second floor room with free soft drinks and lovely toiletries. The room was was at the front of the hotel and was very quiet. The room was spotlessly clean and had a very comfortable bed. The ensuite bathroom had a ‘rain’ shower. Breakfast was excellent and was served in a spectacular dining room. Staff were wonderfully pleasant and helpful. Very good location. Very highly recommended.

We loved this hotel. We loved our room the Empire Suite. I especially loved the back courtyard, as my wife needed down time and I really appreciated the extra space to read and have a beer. It is truly another room for the guests. The back door into the bar next door is like sneaking into the kitchen at a restaurant! Really fun!
And those chocolates, I will dream of the chocolates they leave out for the guests!

On the plus side, a really well located hotel in a beautiful elegant square. Not so much a hotel as a house with rooms.,reception closescearly evening. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Room large. Lovely breakfast. Clean and tidy room. Massive plus points for having a selection of reading glasses available by the door. Brilliant. On the downside, odd selection of curiosities in the room. Strange artefacts like old cameras and barbie dolls in toy cars and selection of vinyl with a record player. Quite creepy. Also rooms at the front quite noisy because you need to keep the window open. Would I stay again? Yes, but maybe ask for a room at the back.

Our bedroom was on the ground floor and fronted the hotel meaning we had wonderful day light and a high ceiling. The breakfast was very good with a choice of cooked eggs and fresh bread. The hotel is a short walk into the centre which was a bonus.

We had a really wonderful stay at Hotel ann de Dam this July. It is a beautiful old house, very tastefully decorated. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating, and made us feel genuinely welcome. The breakfast was superb, and having a collection of old vinyl and and a record player was a delight. Thank you, we can't wait to return!
