Just had two nights at the Ai More d'Oriente Hotel and can not praise it too highly. It is in a quiet part of Cannaregio which we liked, however there are lots of restaurants, shops and bars a few minutes walk away too. Our room was small but very well-appointed with a nice bathroom. The staff were excellent - friendly, helpful and attentive. An enormous selection of breakfast choices and we loved having tea sitting by the canal outside after a long day sightseeing. I was even given a birthday gift with the compliments of the hotel management! Such attention to detail was exemplary. Its a great place to stay!

Fabulous hotel in Venice that I’d highly recommend to anyone visiting the city! In a quieter part of the city but still close enough to walk to St Mark’s square, the Jewish Ghetto and also ideally located for any day trips to the islands.
The hotel was very clean, the staff were really friendly and informative and the breakfast was great! There was a complimentary coffee machine in my room and the hotel also do a free water taxi to Murano each day.
There was a free bottle of water left in my room every night with a little chocolate and a forecast for the next day’s temperature and expected rainfall! Would definitely stay there again - couldn’t fault it!

Not in the center of the tourist crowds yet close enough! Quiet and beautifully done hotel with extremely helpful staff and wonderful breakfast. Quick to and from Marco Polo airport (first stop on most water taxis). Near more of the local restaurants. Will stay again when in Venice.

The most welcoming people I have ever met at an hotel, Every single member of staff was gracious, welcoming, helpful and happy to be helping us. Hotel location slightly off the beaten track but all the major sites are easily accessible and the room, breakfast and bar service were exceptional. You could not wish for better and absolutely amazing value for money.

Have stayed here before, then stayed elsewhere on other trips to Venice and have come back to Ai Mori d'Oriente again.
Love the fact that you can get here via the boat from the airport to the nearby Madonna del Orta stop and that it's a quiet district to stay in; yet some really good restaurants and bars are a short walk away.
Excellent room and good breakfast choices. Friendly staff and cosy bar. Remains our favourite hotel in Venice.
