Clean, pleasant hotel away from tourists
michael non 17/08/2017 03:27Cefalu can be very stifling with so many tourists. This hotel was 1.5km away, a pleasant walk by the coast, and in a quiet setting. Room was large, well appointed and had everything we needed. Restaurant is onsite or on the walk to the town.
A very nice place to stay
anthonyc636on 24/03/2017 22:52We stayed at Al Pescatore in the middle of March, and found it to be excellent. The room was a good size with efficient air conditioning/ heating, an very large balcony , and a comfortable bed.
The staff were very friendly, pleasant, and helpful.
On Saturday morning we walked into town, and were recommended by the owner to go a slightly longer route, turning left out of the hotel and walking gently uphill, passing by an interesting street market, and then pass a traditional cemetery, which is very much worth looking around...give a little change to the man at the entrance!
We enjoyed our stay, and would happily return.

Cristy Mon 30/11/2016 00:57We stayed for 3 nights from the 20th to the 22nd of August. The hotel in general is situated not far from the city and it was quite cute and affordable. The breakfast bar had pretty good food, and the WIFI worked better there (but still crappy). The room was okay, the view from our balcony was great! Staff could've been friendlier but they were okay. We had a gigantic 8 seater car and it was always hard to find parking since everyone kept taking the parking spaces... there were no set car spaces per room. Overall an average hotel.
Comfortable and convenient
SusanS1052on 11/10/2016 00:43Stayed for a week in September. The hotel was in a good position out of town. We had a large clean room and balcony with table and chairs overlooking the road and sea. The bathroom had a very small shower and was in need of updating. Voices and TV could be heard from adjoining room but didn't disturb us too much. The breakfast was ok. Their croissants were excellent but cereal was not available every day. Coffee was mediocre. A lot of the crockery was chipped. There was a pleasant 15 minute walk into the centre along the coast road. Parking was an asset at the hotel. Nice bar attached with food, snacks and ice creams. Enjoyed our stay.

Hotel was very average because you had to put the hotel room key in the light and electricity socket for it to work so when you left the air conditioner would shut off. Breakfast was probably the best thing. Wifi was crappy as you had to go outside to use it. Nice balcony and view though. Hard location to find as well.
