Charm, Relaxation, and Excellence
andreas_m_schulteon 14/06/2017 17:35Our second visit at Al Terra di Mare and it still defines relaxation pure. Wonderful staff and excellent views from the terrace and rooms. Start you day with an exquisite breakfast buffet, seated on the idyllic terrace. Rooms are spacious and any issues are promptly dealt with. Only a few minutes down the hill to get to Levanto for an evening stroll, a meal or enjoying the beach, or to hop on a train to any of the Cinque Terre towns (or beyond). Treat yourself to a visit to Portofino, about an hour drive away. Plan to return for a third installment.

nygge2017on 07/06/2017 06:54It was a very pleasant stay we had at Hotel Al Terra di Mare. Rooms were clean and the service was good. The shuttle service was for us a service that we used and it made it easy go get to the City center or the Trainstation
"Old Style Country feeling and Great Service"
DanKat007on 03/06/2017 21:53Wow this hotel was very surprising and not what we expected in a good way.
It's a bit out of town,10euro taxi ride from the train station if you don't have a car like us. Walking is not an option.
Once we arrive, the staff at reception were very friendly and checkin was a breeze.
We had a standard room and It was huge, generous size bathroom, the only negative was the hot water pressure in the shower is very poor. The room has a fully stocked fridge, cupboard and table.
The views from the hotel are amazing with mountains all around with the sea views as well, sitting out on the terrace drinking wine after a hard day trekking makes for an unforgettable experience.
You can tell it's family run as nothing is a problem, the staff are only too eager to offer up Ideas or provide advice.
They provide a complimentary shuttle service into town and back to hotel, anymore and it only costs 5e per trip.
The break fast is good with great views on the verandah to eat it, the only negative was on both mornings it was quite busy and the scrambled eggs and bacon runs out quick and it s not refilled very quickly but other than that very nice.
The free wifi works well too which is handy to keep in contact with family.
We had a delightful short stay at this family run hotel and would definitely recommend it.
Travelled as a couple.

Having a drink on their terrace at night just right before heading to town to grab dinner is such a marker for me. A marker that starts a good vacation full of discovery and adventure, but first, the hotel. What a gem! the family own and run this jewel with all their hearts and you can see it. The breakfast is amazing, with home made jam and fresh baked goods you can never have enough of the local charcuterie and cheeses offered at the crack of dusk. I will definitely go back for a third time and will enjoy the quiet night sleep, in this remote place of levanto.

Beautiful Mountain Views, Peaceful Surroundings and Great Service
N7223CEdondon 31/05/2017 23:09This is a wonderful place to stay if you want beautiful monuntain views, peaceful surroundings and great service. Family owned and operated it offers a wide variety of breakfast foods and pastries. The entire staff is warm, friendly, very accommodating and helpful. Everyone speaks English also. If you want to relax and enjoy Italy's Cinque Terre without the crowds stay at Al Terre in Levanto.
