Came here first in September last year . Liked it very much . So on this trip we decided to stay for 4 nights . A phone call followed by email was enough to confirm the bookings . All transportation arrangements were made through them to our utmost satisfaction .
They have large clean rooms , super service and good food . And they give valuable advice too .There is a Sumo service that runs in front of its gates which take you upto Lalbaug for Rs.25/ per person . If you pay for 10 seats , you have the whole Sumo to yourselves . A little more and you can keep it for an extra hour .

If you are a tourist , this is a great place to stay . In a quiet place next to the Shalimar Gardens . You can get in and out of Srinagar without getting into city traffic .
Owners and staff go all the way to ensure your comfort . Food is good . Rooms are spacious .

good food, better room,good interior, free wifi etc,....... and the best thing good staff....one of the staff was the best ..... i still remember him..... Al hamra hotel is near to shalimar baug but its far from local markets... it just have 1 drawback....

It was nice to have a kitchen to make our own meals. The space was very clean and cozy. I had a wonderful time here! I enjoyed it very much! Thanks for the beautiful memories.Large room and nice staff.Our stay was very pleasant, thank you very much

Its a nice hotel right besides the Shalimar bagh - the rooms are nice and cozy with basic amenities, clean washrooms. The food is awesomely good - they serve mouth watering aloo poori during breakfast. The staff members are simple and helpful. All in all - good place :)
