The hotel is located walking distance to the subway, a shopping centre, lots of stores and walking distance to main attractions.
The staff is very friendly and patient, providing help and advise on how to get around, restaurants and such.
The room was sparkling clean and very relaxing!

We stayed here for a few days and had an enjoyable stay. Staff are friendly, rooms were spotless, if a little on the small side, but that's what you expect in a capital city.
Didn't use the bar or any other facilities as we were out and about in the city.
Nice neighbourhood. Metro station was just across the street, 30 second walk away.

There was building work taking place next door, but it did not begin until 10am and finished around 5pm, so it did not disturb us. The staff told us when we arrived. Would have been nice to be told before we arrived though.

Never stay in this hotel. Here is a set of reason why, hotel is by a construction site, and they tell you that it starts at 10 am, they lie. It starts making noises around 8.30, so forget about taking a nice sleep while in Lisbon. Air conditioner is controlled from the reception so if your room is cold and you want it warm you have to call reception and it just works for a couple of hours then it automatically sets it back to cooling and your warm room suddenly goes to ice age. Plus the internet is beyond awful.

Excellent hotel. I liked especially the service which was always available, ready to help, and also honest. The room was clean, the breakfast includes fresh fruit and a lot of choices. The location is perfect when you want to use the subway.

I had quite a nice stay at Alif. It is modern (a bit too modern), spotless and the staff is really helpful and easy-going. The location is also a plus: airy, silent, next to parks (Eduardo VII), museums (Gulbenkian) and a Mall (El Corte Inglés) and right in front to a Metro station that will take straight to the airport or the Chiado area. Don't trust Google Maps: take the São Sebastião Station, right in front of the hotel, no the "Alameda", which is some 500 meters away.
