Room was in basement near restaurant/kitchen so when I checked in it smelled all food.
Staff at reception at time of checking in and out was stone faced - no smile or greetings.
Disappointing stay. Location is ok but hotel needs serious renovations.

I was on a business trip to Agra.I advised the local office to book an decent accommodation close to the office so that I don't waste much time travelling to office.I was conveyed that my room was booked with Hotel Amar. My first impression was much better than my expectation.The ambiance was excellent.Room service was really good. Everything was taken care of as per their practice.Breakfast (buffet) was also nice though the full course lunch and dinner requires more varieties.The only drawback I found was Wifi use to be provided on demand for limited time and speed was also very slow.Barring this altogether it was a nice stay.Most important, Taj is just 1 km from the Hotel.

very nice hotel of Agra & oldest also. Big lobby with beautiful marvel work floor and hand made paintings on ceiling side. awesome food, nice swimming pool and a small bar. Mr. Raghav & Mr. Yadav are very helpful managers in the lobby and services are very good. I appreciate this hotel to my friends and relatives.

Very good stay in Amar Hotel, that was memorable moments.
If the God give opportunity in future to stay in Agra definitely we will chose Amar Hotel and feel same things as before.All things in Hotel was good.

Good Hotel with decent location .Staff & service is having decent behaviour .Rooms are clean & spacious .Food quality is good.My room is well maintained neat & clean ,spacious.Overall a nice good hotel.
