This hotel claims to be luxurious. Our room smelled like smoke. Two doormen didn't move when we pulled up, stood there looking at us dragging our bags in. Called ahead to arrange a ride to the airport for our departure and Heidi told me they didn't have enough staff. Same when we called for a pick up. They have a slick web site gushing with hype- too bad they don't live up to it!

We really enjoyed our stay and would come back here anytime we are in LA. The room was well designed and comfortable and the staff were very accommodating and pleasant. It's the little things that make the difference; well lite closet and dressing area, spacious room and entry way, good water pressure in the shower.

This has become my home away from home when traveling for work. Staff is great. A wonderful room service menu, fun bar with goodies and the rooms are impeccable... comfortable and clean. Shout out to Laurie D. for securing my favorite room.

We were visiting Universal Studios. Hotel Amarano was a very nice upscale hotel in a quiet neighborhood. (A $5 Lyft ride away.) Great value for the room size, amenities and service. We stayed in the suite with one bedroom and sitting area. Perfect amount of space for me and my husband and two teens. (13th birthday celebration.)

First, the staff was all extremely friendly and helpful, and that's what makes any stay really nice. Second their pool amd other common areas were quite nice and well kept. The location is nice because, aside from being so close to Warner Bros amd other things, there is a Vons directly across the street as well as some decent restaurants. However, the room itself could have been better. The floor was a little dirty when we arrived, which was cleaned upon request (thanks) but the toilet was smelly the whole time, like there was a plumbing problem. Also our room on the 4th floor was noisy at night because of some kind of large fan or something on the roof above us.
