Please avoid this hotel. We booked through MMT. On reaching hotel we saw bathroom door is broken and they were repairing the door. We took two double bedded room but they gave us two very small common door rooms,which smell very bad like damp rooms. Also the rooms were in basement floor. Foods provided we're below standard. There are no restaurant nearby. Thumbs down for this hotel. Even staffs are not very responsive.

A visit to the Andaman Islands was always in my bucket list. I am glad that I could tick it off this year. My focus was to spend more on the trip and less on lodging. After loads of research,I decided to opt for Andaman Residency. Irrespective of some bad reviews on Trip Advisor, I went with the shot. Surprisingly,I was not disappointed!
On the day of our arrival,we were received with glasses of orange juice as welcome drinks.Thereafter, our room was allotted on the third floor(Standard AC).Coming to the room, I would like to mention that we got what we paid. The bathrooms were clean and the room smelled fine! The best part is that Andaman Residency doesn't charge for room service! The staffs who work here are mostly young adults and are very courteous. As we prefer light food ,the ordered dishes also magically matched our taste buds. Oh! They also serve complimentary breakfast in the morning. I would specifically love to mention about the taste of their tea. The taste is amazing and can soothe your soul on a rainy morning. The owner of this Residency is also a fantastic gentleman and happens to be a Keralite.
After arriving from our short nightstays at Neil & Havelock, we were allotted a basement room(Standard AC). Honestly, I liked the previous room more than the basement room. The basement room was claustrophobic for obvious reasons. Overall,we had a pleasant stay and the homely vibe of this lodging will forever be etched in my heart.XOXO!

People who have visited Port Blair would agree that its the matter of 1 or 2 days here.
We were supposed to take the ferry to Havelock next day morning and were looking for a place to sleep in PortBlair. One of my friends suggested this hotel and we booked it.
It has a choice of the room from non ac basic to ac suite. Rooms are cleanly mantained and staff is very helpful. They have in-house wifi. It is centrally located and the market is at walkable distance.
Offer 24/7 hot water and food on prior notice - as they cook it fresh on order.

We a family of two plus two had an excellent stay at Andaman Residency last month. The rooms are very specious and the food and services provided by the staff was great. The hotel is located quite near to the airport as well as the bazar..
Mr. Biju, who runs the hotel, was in touch with us regularly and made sure that we are comfortable at all times. He also arranged tickets for us to visit couple of islands on a very short notice and provided us with packed lunch....
I would highly recommend this hotel to friends and relatives and thank the entire team, who made our stay memorable and made us felt at home. Thank You .....

This is a good decent place if you plan to stay at Port Blair while coming or going to Islands. This is situated at convenient distance from Airport (1 Km), Aberdeen Bazaar and other handicraft shops nearby. Staff is friendly, rooms are comfortable , just enough for a 2 star property. They provide breakfast and if you need it at early hours to catch the flight just tell them a night before. I stayed there for a night and not too many issues. Wi-Fi is available for free, just ask hotel staff to key in password. Good location.
