Visited Trichy to attend a marriage on 3rd Sept. Since many hotels were full and no rooms available, I was forced to take a hotel booking, where room was available, with no time and scope to make a detailed analysis. This was Annamalai hotel in Trichy.
The plus points are
1- very near to main bus stand, 2- room is spacious (if executive room is chosen)
Minus points
1 -no attached restaurant and no free breakfast, 2- unless you ask for towel, soap, water, it is not provided by default. 3- no coffee maker., 4 - only 1 plug point provided.
If any one have time to choose, you may try a better hotel.

Stayed here on a official tour, nothing special. very average hotel front office was looking good however the room was very average. Nothing special and no restaurant was another minus here. Rest rooms were cleaned only before check-in and later not even proper cleaning done.

We had booked around 10 rooms during my brother's marriage. We found the hotel to be decent. I could see a lot of negative reviews but we did no face any of those issues listed in those reviews. Lift was working, we got hot water and staff were co-operative. This hotel is centrally located near central bus stand. We found some difficulty with parking only.

I never seen such a terrible hotel. such a Nasty hotel. They are charging Rs 2000 per room and rooms are like a lodge, Full of bad smell from AC, Not maintaining the room. Breakfast also not providing in this hotel. I didnt sleep the whole night. I could see the near by peoples in hotel are drinking in the rooms and its not safe for families. i choosed the wrong hotel, since this is my first time. I dont go next time. And working staffs dont know how to behave with the customers. always money minded and not maintaining the rooms properly. I definitely dont recommend this to my friends. And also cleartrip should not recommend this type of hotels to customers. I entirely wasted my money for this room.

Stayed for night of the 21st May,2016.Rooms are dirty,electric point boxes open in toilet which could be dangerous,flush handle broken,beer and other bottles thrown in the corner of corridor.
Wifi does not work.
Pl avoid this hotel
