I think previous reviewers are being a tad harsh on this place. Ok, fine: it's not 4star, but it's not priced that way either. What it is; is a lovely, reasonable little spot in an older style hotel that has been kept immaculately clean. Besides-you're here for the lake anyway aren't you...?
We got mis-booked by an online booking agency (not TA) that put us into a too-small room. No issues at all; easily sorted by the staff and at all times they were pleasant, engaging and helpful people who went out of their way to ensure our stay was as good as they could make it.
Come here expecting a retro look and decor. Our room was clean, comfortable and better than many I have stayed in for considerably more expense and the helpfulness of the staff really made our experience here a great one in a lovely corner of Italy.

We are very happy with this hotel in Arona. The location is quite good, Emiliano (the recepcionist) was simply super kind giving us a lot of nice tips about the city. The bedroom was clean, very spacious and so was the bathroom. Our stay was very confortable. The prices are very fair and we would definitely recommend this hotel.

I have been here for a month now and the staff have been more than helpful. This is the best stay for many reasons. Firstly you are an hours train ride to Milan (or less) and then you are on Lago Maggiore...yes! Here the location is central and the rooms are comfortable and the hotel itself is quaint. I love it!

If you are looking for a hotel with good location and don't care much of high comfort this hotel is for you. Excelent location (very close to the lake and Arona station) and friendly staff is advantage of the hotel. If you need parking while travelling by car this hotel can provide it. All other things are far from 4* level: furniture is old as well as bath equipment, very noisy, no safe in the room. I was not much disappointed with the hotel, but i would not advise it to my friends.

Excellent place. Rooms much better then famous Giardino and Atlantic hotels. Not noisy but very close to the Main Street. Best service in Arona. All stuff are very polite and trying to help, what i cant say about other hotels (usual "Italian" service ) and of course special thank to Omar !!!
