What People are saying

Excellent old style hotel

417lis on 20/11/2017 23:27

A very nice hotel with friendly and efficient staff, good restaurant, a beautiful garden and spacious rooms. Excellent service. One gets the feeling of an hotel from a time gone by – in the positive sense. An oasis in a bustling town.

Great Hotel, but a little Noisy

jordansbulls on 01/11/2017 04:29

Stayed here for the past 7 days and the hotel is a great hotel in a good location with exceptional service. The breakfast was good and all personal was nice and ready to help. The only issues I would say is that the room we had had no AC which is fine, except there was a lot of noise every night outdoors. Some nights it was dogs barking, other nights it was horns going off constantly and other nights party's.

Outstanding in so many ways

This 1940’s era Hotel shows very, very little sign of neglect or disrepair. In fact, it is such a pleasure to explore all the rich wooden hallways, winding or climbing staircases, patios, little gardens. There is zero evidence of attempts to compromise quality for profit by making original rooms smaller, or settling for modern fixtures that wouldn’t match the original design. And the design is lovely and handsome at the same time. There are quiet alcoves with oversized furniture for quit reading, but most rooms are just steps away from other private places in little perimeter gardens with rich fragrances and plants and trees that have been there for ages. Stuff is old, but it all works.(except slow internet 2017). No card entry locks- you get a key that you have to turn about four times to lock, but, who cares! The place looks like Humphrey Bogart might appear from around the corner to assist you. On that note, probably the greatest treasure at Hotel Aranjuez is the staff. Some have loyally worked there for decades. Why? Because they love the place, and guests sense that from the quiet, humble attention they receive from every one of them. We will not stay anywhere else when we return to Cochabamba.

Beautiful

I stayed at Hotel Aranjuez for 3 days and it was a wondeful time. The place is beautiful with little picturesque patios and terraces full of plants, flowers and tropical trees that attract many birds (even humming birds). All (!) the staff is very friendly and helpful. José makes an incredibly delicious bolivian coffee (you have to try!) and knows a lot about cochabamba and the nature around.
I will come back :)

Yofb visit

Great value, 5A service. Beautiful gardens and terrace to enjoy coffee or a meal.
Strongly recommend this when in Cochabamba. First time here, usually stayed at gran hotel cochabamba, but this is cozier. Next door is museum, if Casa Patiño, belonged to the Tin Baron
