wouldn't recommend this hotel suppose to be a deluxe room but got basic room NO aircon,, room always too warm ...always felt as if I was scratching ,,breakfast was lying open and flies landing on food ,,wouldn't rush back

To be honest I cannot recommend this place to anyone, unless you're on a tight budget.
The positives:
The area is very nice. You're surrounded by nature and the Meuse river is very nearby.
The staff is very friendly.
The breakfast is fine.
The negatives:
The rooms are small and in desperate need of an update.
The place bills itself as a 4 star establishment, but it it can just scrape by as a 3 star hotel.

is about 30 minutes from the center of the city and the tickets are expensive the village is wonderful .

Having stayed at this hotel before on our way down to Germany we had no hesitation in trying it again.The hotel is well situated near the main road,parking is just about adequate but could get difficult at busy times. The rooms are small and rather old fashioned but comfortable enough,we could have done with either a fan or A/c as the temperatures were way above 30 and this made sleeping difficult.The Hotel restaurant is very good with seating both outside and in and the service and food we had at dinner were excellent. The only real complaint came at breakfast ,the coffee from a self service machine was nearly cold and not very good,apart from that I would recommend the hotel to anyone. It is very handy for Arcen and being Holland there are bicycle tracks everywhere.

We used this hotel several times during consecutive years on our driving through the Netherlands. We kept coming back due to the reasonable pricing of a double room, which was fantastic for us and our 3 kids. Parking is at the back of the hotel on a fairly safe parking lot. Nice staff. No air conditioning made it somewhat hot on the hottest summer nights, but apart from that, we thought it was a great find. Nice little hotel in a pretty little village.
