Wonderful place, excellent staff, and magnificent facilities. We planned to stay one night, but we liked it so much that we decided to stay two. There are two beautiful swimming pools and pretty bedrooms.
Family Friendly Stay in Cuernavaca

The room is very spacious, with room for the children to play quietly. The staff brought up a little table and two chairs for them. The grounds are nice with two pool areas as well as outdoor 'palapas'. There is also another space with a play set for children. During the week it is nice and quiet. The staff has been very nice and courteous.
Terrible experience. Extorted by criminals

NEVER COMING BACK!!! I had the most terrible experience at this hotel. I used to go to Cuernavaca at least 4 times a year and used to stayed at the hotel, my family and I love the weekend buffet, we were regular costumers even if we were not staying there.
Last August 2015 was my very last time, we stayed at the hotel because my aunt passed away, so we extended the stay. On the second night after the funeral we get back to our room around 10 o'clock pm. to rest. Around midnight we receive a call to the room's phone from the front desk informing us that the police was at the hotel looking for someone and put me at the phone with the "Chief" who let me know they weren't the police that they belong to a cartel. Long story short, I was EXTORTED all night, up to 7 am, by someone who terrified , threatened our lives and scared me and my family to death.
Someone at the night shift was working with the criminals, they knew how many we were, that we were not in our best mood. We felt betrayed by the staff who knew us at least from 5 years before.
Very nice hotel, big, confortable, clean suites

I stayed at the Argento this weekend. I didn't knew what to expect since I made the reservation just the day before and was one of the very few hotels available online. It was a great surprise tho.
The hotel is quite small, I don't know how many rooms but I think there shouldn't be more that 50 or so. The photographs on their website/expedia are quite accurate but for the pool that is smaller than it seems.
We had a pleasant night there, the rooms are quiet, big, clean, everything you would expect for a higher class hotel. Even then towels in the room are bigger than usual, which is something I really appreciate. The only thing I didn't like was that the pillows are somewhat thin, but beds are very confortable, maybe a bit too firm, but I'm okay with that.
They had a pretty decent free WiFi, I didn't used it too much, just so sync things overnight but I felt it was speedier than the average hotel.
We didn't had the chance to try the buffet breakfast, because we had to leave early, but looked okay.
Very nice, quiet hotel

This is a nice, newer, well-maintained hotel. It is less than 10 minutes by taxi from the Palacio de Cortes.
With the exception of the air conditioner, which was a little loud, the room was quiet and comfortable. The service was very nice, from the desk staff to the valet to the people who waited tables during meals. Our room came with breakfast buffet, which was pretty good, and we enjoyed eating outside in the cabana along with drinks (tacos were quite good). The grounds were well maintained. Would definitely stay here again.
