Very nice hotel
PicMorDaisieson 04/11/2017 04:59Three of us stayed at the Hotel Artetxe and liked it a lot. Our room wasn't ready when we arrived but they stored our luggage for us and then put it in our room once the room had been cleaned. It was an excellent location for us as it was easy to get downtown on the funicular that is close by. Also it was convenient and easy to drive to the airport for our flight. Our room was fine with a nice view of Bilbao. The hotel breakfast was really good - buffet style with homemade yogurt, various breads and pastries and much more including some very nice chocolate.
Good but...
Peter Son 10/10/2017 03:49Fantastic views, friendly staff, good room, great access to city, everything good... but, no aircon hence window open hence damned neighbours dog kept me up most of the night. Unacceptable no matter who is to blame. Need to remove dog or get aircon.
Comfortable, peaceful and very reasonably priced
Mateja Pon 08/10/2017 12:26The apartment was superb, everything a family would need. Well equipped 2 bedrooms, kitchen with a coffee machine, large bathroom with al lot of complimentary toiletries. Even we had an apartment, the housekeeping service was included. Excellent continental breakfast was served in the main building - fresh fruits, cereal, sandwiches, small hamburgers, yogurt, croissants, pots of marmalade, meets, cheese, eggs, pastries, tea, coffee, juices,...and many more. The staff are always extremely polite and nothing has been too much trouble for them. Outside the city centre, but no issue because there are a lot of other options (taxi, bus, funicular,..)The only drawback was that there are no supermarkets near the property. Otherwise a fantastic stay and would recommend to anyone. Excellent value for money!

Andrea Won 26/09/2017 19:55We stayed here for one night before catching our ferry back to the UK. The staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious and spotlessly clean with a fantastic view over Bilbao. The free wi-fi was fast and reliable. The tea and coffee making facilities in our room we're very welcome, as we're the complimentary toiletries. I'd definitely recommend this hotel and will stay here again when we are next in the area.

Nice hotel to spend our final night before returning to UK.
Situated above Bilbao with magnificent views of the city. Good room in hotel annex with good bathroom and shower.
Staff are great and breakfast was amongst the best we have had during our recent travels.
Either travel into city by bus from beside the hotel or use finicular railway approx A mile away with free car park for 95c.
Restaurant over the road good and also used on site restaurant which does not belong to hotel.
Approx 1 hour from Santander ferry.
