Strange atmosphere and poor customer service in a lovely location
keivson 08/08/2016 20:00What a location, this hotel is situated in a lovely village surrounded by mountains and a lovely river flowing through the centre. Arriving at the hotel around 6 ish, we were greeted by a voice behind us stating we were to wait 5 mins, while trying to check in we were requested by a lovely young lady to indicate our choices for dinner. There were 5 of us trying to check in and guests attempting to get information at the same time. After a quick shower we met for dinner in the restaurant only to be told I selected the carrot soup and not the dumplings, when I questioned this the rude lady in charge stormed off and produced a piece of paper claiming I had ticked the paper, this in front of the full restaurant. We sorted this out between ourselves and proceeded to have a laugh amongst ourselves only to get stern looks from my friend the lady in charge, one of my colleagues commented that perhaps laughter was not allowed as the whole restaurant was very quiet giving a strange atmosphere. The hotel was okay if a little dated and a very smelly toilet in my room, however the rooms were large and the price was good.

europelover26on 07/09/2015 16:15A wonderful family run business where the family welcome you with open arms. i find it very interesting the hotel culture in South Tyrol in general as the value for money is phenomenal...included in our room rate was a hearty breakfast in which there was cold cuts, ceral, juice, tea, cofffee and cheese etc for breakfast and a home made 3 course dinner in the evening to come back to after a long day hiking and sightseeing around the mountains. Dessert where yummy!
Our rooms where clean every day to a very high standard, and we loved sitting out in the cool evenings on our balcony looking over this wonderful valley. The TV in the room was huge and the wifi incredibly speedy.
I found the hotel outstanding value for money and in general was very satisfied.
Would recommend and will return in the winter to ski!

AngMasson 19/02/2011 08:16lovely vacation , the hotel was good and the valley is wonderful, with many places to see. The valley is closed making it even more peaceful than other places in SouthTirol. The place is more or less halfway in the valley.
