Great location but high price for the hotel standard
yos0718on 06/06/2017 17:11Great location to stay in the city, but price was too high for the room/hotel standard. For that price, you could fine better hotels which were opened newly near by. Over charged the drinks in the bar as well.

Fereshteh Mon 02/06/2017 11:47I stayed at aveny hotel 5 nights during a business trip. Very helpful and friendly staff, the breakfast was also very good. The hotel is located very close to the city centre shops and restaurants. The bed was also comfy. I also used the gym and quite liked it The only downside for moe was that the bathroom and toilets were not shiny and clean.

USP: (unique selling point) - has actual barbells in the hotel room to persuade you to work out
CONS: It was quite expensive for the town - Umea is a small little town.
Ok Business hotel for One night
Karl Fon 10/03/2017 21:21Had a late flight to Umeå and checked in about 10.30 PM, no hassles smooth and easy, I had a late meeting with the MD for the company I was visiting the next day. The night portlier served a couple of soft drink and some snacks before I went to bed. Quite rooms good beds and a very nice breakfast in the morning made my day. Price less then 100$, very reasonable for that room and including the breakfast.
Hotel Aveny Good Choice

Exiting the central railroad station in Umea you can see the hotel on the other side of the street a couple of blocks down. The hotell is of good quality, clean, good employees and nice design. The included breakfast was very good with a good selection of things to eat. Closeby are a number of restaurants, a galleria and several fast food places.
