I found it a bit expensive but the hotel is good if you are looking for the full package of amenities, ambience and experience. It is well located in the town although in a crowded locality but there is a parking lot. The complimentary breakfast is not bad too. Rooms and bathrooms are neat and classy.

This is one of the those restaurants which I fall back upon whenever I don't want to try any specific cuisine.
Now, with the recent renovation, the ambiance is also taken a few notches higher.
The food quality and quantity both are good as always.

Recently had been to Kolhapur while on the way to Goa. We needed a stopover and looking for a hotel to spend the night.
The hotel is nice, neat and clean located on a main road itself. Had a comfortable stay with family. Seems to be like a 2 star property at an affordable price.
Location

A good location with accessibility to most of the things required like restaurants and shopping areas nearby. Being on main road is an added advantage if you wish to travel further.
Hotel Property

Though the property seems to be little old, it's well maintained. Provide many facilities like stay, dining etc. Have enough parking places to park your vehicles. I think they also offer Banquet Services and Lawns for Weddings and Parties. I guess there is pool services available in the hotel. It's a 3 or 4 storey hotel with availability of lift service.
Rooms

As mentioned, The hotel property is little old and hence rooms are not of a modern category. But it mattered little as found all rooms to be Spacious, neat and clean.The bed was comfortable with proper clean bed linens. Bathroom was of a moderate size and was clean and neatly maintained.
Food
====
Being included in room tariff, could enjoy the breakfast in the morning. Though not many options but yes couple of good Maharashtrian and South Indian food available in option along with omelette, bread butter etc. Overall good taste somewhat like homely food...
The Hotel People
============
Nice and polite staff... Right from the reception, security to room service- a very polite and supportive people to help you at each and every stage you need them... In the morning we wanted to visit the Mahalaxmi Temple and the security staff cared to arrange auto rickshaws for all of us as we were around 4 families traveling together...
To summarise - a good hotel and would definitely think of to stay here whenever I visit Kolhapur...

True to it's quality and consisteny I. Serving delicious food ,maithili the renovated restaurant is simply amazing.Have enjoyed the food every time I visit.Tried the chicken magnet, chicken lollypop and butter chicken...and was fantastic.

Linen is good, Heater is central so you have to let go 1 bucket of water.Break fast qualitry was OK type.Location is ideal you can quikly reach the NH4 highway.So also you can reach the city.Best suited if you are halting midway from Belgaum to Pune or Mumbai.
