Hi, last week we (6 people ) visited Oyo and we selected Oyo 9204 Hotel Anant Place. Best quality rooms were available thete in reasonable price around 1500 INR. They provide complimentary breakfast including buffet system.
In the end will prefer all family members to stay in this hotel.

We booked two rooms. on checking in found that there was stink in one room as walls and ceiling of the room was wet. As i was with family. it was health hazard to even spend night in that room. We requested front desk, but attitude of them was totally indifferent and they even did no acknowledge problem in room. i also called trip advisor company but to no avail. Ultimately we all four had to sleep in one room. both grown up children on floor. Can u imagine nightmare of booking hotel through trip advisor company?
Next morning they agreed to give alternate room.
But after paying rent for one room and not utilizing the same will trip advisor compensate us.

This hotel is located at the center of udaipur. Walkable distance from the City Palace and lake. We got grand room with 3 beds at INR 4150. The staff is very caring and humble. You have a great view of the palace from the roof top restaurant(which is kinda costly) and also the Jagdish temple. You can get variety of food by just walking and 10 steps from the hotel gate.
This hotel is kinda costly but after staying there for 2 days, I had to admit that it's worth the pay.
Clean, grand, classic, royal themed, safe, pleasant.

Had visited Udaipur in Oct'16. Not sure why this is called OYO Rooms Jagdish Chowk, this review is for Hotel Baba Palace. Had stayed at a hotel slightly away from the main city center in the past, which was, in itself, not a bad choice, however, the value of staying right at the centre of everything catapults the entire holiday experience to a different level. Imagine you have no plans for the day, whatsoever, still a stroll down can get you gasping for more of the old city. Yes, one of the biggest pluses of Hotel Baba Palace is the location itself. Right opposite to Jagdish temple, a 5 mins walk away from Gangaur ghat, Bagore ki haveli, City Palace, ATMs, restaurants, sweet, antique, clothes shops, everything at a walkable distance.
The rooms were large, clean, although the food costs were on a little higher side, but, still was very sumptuous & mouthwatering. They have a terrace restaurant, with a very good view of the temple. The complimentary breakfast does not have a buffet, but a strict menu, which was quite good too. Great internet speeds.
Originally, it is an old villa converted into a hotel. Some of the doors were like olden days, bolts not fastening properly, bathrooms not having mugs, mirror, hot water etc. Linen was torn & old.The room we were put up in didn't have both the remotes - one for TV & other for cable. Although, room service took care of most of the minor issues. Perhaps, the rooms on floor 3 were being renovated. Suspect, rooms on floor 2 and 1 were better, as some of the foreigners were staying in rooms on those floors.
We had a good deal at Hotel Baba Palace, with a good value for money. However, I would appeal to all readers to check if the room bolt is proper & solid, hot water, working TV / AC, before they take the room. It is definitely a hotel, I will consider the next time I visit the city as well, because, in spite of the minor issues, the real Udaipur can be experienced no where, but at Hotel Baba Palace.

I booked this hotel for a night from Oyo rooms. I got it at fifty percent discounted price. The hotel room interiors makes one feel Royal for a day. They have a Queen bed and rooftop restaurant food is lip smacking. Don't miss to have authentic dal baati. The window one can see clear view of famous jagdish Temple. City palace is just right next from here. A definite definite stay here.
