If you go the Copper Canyon, you should really try to get a room here. The view on the canyon from your own private balcony is absolutely amazing. It is an attraction in its own right. We were mesmerised by the view during the day, the stars at night and the sunrise in the early morning. When we arrived we got a room with a tree in front of our view, after asking we got another room, which was nice. The restaurant also offers a good view and free binoculars. The food is included and not the best ever, but not bad either. The drinks are nice and so is the personnel, you can even bring drinks up to your room. The main crowd were pensioners, but that didn't bother us and we even met some really nice people from Mexico City who gave us tips.

When we checked in here was a tarantula in the bedroom that I reported to the deadpan receptionist who didn't volunteer to remove it. The next AM I found a black widow in the folds of the towel and suggested to the receptionist that the room be fumigated. No reaction. "You don't believe me" I said. "Yes, I do. But it is unusual" she replied. I still don't think that she believed me and hope that her next guest would be less tolerant than I and will make a fuss.

My one day adventure over Copper Canyon, meet local tribus, and the most important, adventure park, our aerial tour zip rider, longest around the world. Another interesting thing to do, walking throught the Canyon to see rupestrian art.

Had been in this hotel 10 years ago and was not pleased. The hotel and restaurant have been upgraded significantly. The food was excellent where it had been barely acceptable. Staff was far friendlier, knowledgeable and accommodating than on my earlier trip.
The hotel even had a coffee bar. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to a friend. The hotel is part of the Balderrama organization...a one-stop resource for trips to Copper Canyon.

The hotel has an excellent ubication, cuisine and service. I think sometines needs more support of waiters because there a lot of guests ans the service tends to take more time.
In general terms is a very nice place.
