This is a budget hotel with basic amenities. Room services are not up to the mark. Wi-Fi is very poor. Hot water supply is available during morning only. Food quality is very good. Complimentary breakfast is simple but decent.
Friendly

The room was large and cheap. Only in the lobby we had WIFI and there were a few cockroaches in the bathroom. The owner however was very friendly and helpful in booking us a bus. Because of him we would go back :)

Perfect location for shopping in Pune

The hotel is located in the heart of Pune city. Laxmi road, Tulsi baug market, Mandai, Shaniwar wada fort, Dagdushet Halwai Ganpati temple, famous Chitale Bandhu Mithaiwale and many local restaurants are within walkable distance. Places like Tulsi baug market, Laxmi road, including Budhwar Peth where the hotel is located are shoppers paradise particularly for clothes, shoes, accessories, electrical goods, books, traditional items, etc. It's well connected with public buses and auto rickshaws are available just outside the hotel. As the hotel is bang on the market road, it can get bit noisy during the day. But the rooms in their new building are not road facing and it will be a good option if you want to relax during the day without being disturbed by all the sounds of vehicles and market. I had booked an AC room. The room was good and clean, though very small. The complimentary breakfast was good and food I ordered from their restaurant was tasty as well. Since I was staying alone, the hotel staff made sure I come for breakfast in time when I was late once, by giving a call. Hotel staff is very polite, courteous and helpful. Room service was quick. The WiFi was working fine in my room. There is parking area within the hotel premises. It is a good budget hotel offering decent service. Recommended for people interested in local shopping.
Our recent stay at Hotel Basera Pune

My wife & I had been to Pune from 5th of November to 8th of November & stayed in Hotel Basera Bajirao Road. This is just a budget hotel consisting of old wing which carries a lower tariff & a new wing carrying higher tariff. The rooms were quite small with a shared balcony with adjascent room. The beds being queen size were a little cramped with comparatively a hard bed surface. The toilet did not have faucet facility. The complimentary breakfast served in the new wing had a limited menu predominantly of maharashtrian variety with unlimited servings.Snacks vegetarian lunch/dinner as per the menu was prepared & served in the rooms with additional service charge.Non Veg food again as per the menu was brought from outside & served in the rooms.Service was quite good though with limited staff who were quite friendly. All in all a fairly decent hotel .Wi-fi was available at Rs.50/ for 24 hrs.
