We only stopped in this hotel for two nights, we were upgraded to a very large and spotless room with an excellent sea view. The room had tea and coffee making facilities which not many hotels on the Algarve offer. The breakfast was excellent, proper sausage and bacon. Will definitly stop at this hotel again

First time in Luz. We had a large seaview room with a nice balcony with sundeckchairs. It is a clean neat hotel, not too crowded, nice breakfast with a variety of goods. Unfortunately average dinner so I recommend to eat outdorrs instead. Friendly helpful staff and close to beach and restaurants. Very unstable wifi connection.

What a little gem of a hotel! Hard to find at first. Friendly staff, amazing views and two pools one of which was heated. Rooms were nice, fridge and tea and coffee. Balcony had a nice view of the sea. My son made friends with some of the older guests and a family at breakfast. Only wish we couldn't stayed longer. Only down side is it's far out of town and you really need a car to get about. But that's what we wanted, a quiet retreat so ticked the box for us.

We were re booked here, after our initial hotel Luz Bay Hotel had plumbing problems or something. We were asked however to check at Luz Bay Hotel, for details of the new booking. If the receptionist at Luz Bay Hotel had had a knife handy, I swear she would have used it on us, just for asking question. To be fair she did eventually give us a map....but it was still a little unclear as to which of the 3 hotels in Luz, with Belavista in their titles was the correct one.
Well, we got out with our lives and eventually made it to Hotel Belavista da Luz. A more complicated process than it needed to be but anyway......
I cannot praise highly enough, the delightful lady in reception who made us feel instantly welcome.
The room was clean and very comfortable. There were tea making facilities in the room. WiFi a little spotty but the ambience of the place seemed to make up for that.
The pool barman, gave my husband a beer, even though he had shut up shop for the day.
Location is a bit of a minus.....up the steep hill from the beach....but when you find pleasant service here, an uphill walk is worth it.

The hotel was very clean, the rooms were so nice, the pool area was great, the reception was nice, the bar/pool staff were very nice, but the hotel is let down by the spa, gym, and games rooms. They are VERY outdated, the games room was quite a joke, and the gym looked like a few weights had been left in an unused room. So dont go here expecting a luxury spa experience. As i said, other than that the hotel was near perfect.
Towels were free, In the middle of August the pool area was very quiet every day, you could get a bed at any time.
The breakfast buffet was okay, a big mix of hot and cold, but after 5 mornings of it, it gets a bit heavy. We didnt have dinner there.
Theres no entertainment, and Luz doesnt offer too much more in the evenings, or even the day. Its winning part is the beach. So spend your late afternoons to night times in Lagos.
