Watch the sunrise straight from your balcony with the glorious Lago di Como below :-)

The small town of Bellaggio is like a fairy tale! We came here for a wedding so Hotel Belvedere came recommended. Staying at this property added to the magic.
What we loved about this place is that it's walking distance to the town Centre, but not in it. Thus it's very quiet at night.
Given that it's on a hill, the views from the hotel are outstanding. You wake up to the morning sun shining into your room and Lago di Como glistening below you. Totally beautiful.
We had a junior suite which was wonderul. Especially loved the big bathroom with very up-to-date European amenities. The private balcony was also a great place to sit and relax. I have to admit though, the suite was much smaller than I expected. Somehow on the website, the photos made it look much more spacious.
The breakfast buffet is outstanding. WOW! Loved all the fresh fruit and food in the morning. And just below the breakfast area was the pool which had a stunning vista of the lake.
The whole setting of the hotel is just magical.
To add to all that the staff were super nice and very accommodating.
What a beautiful property!

We had a wonderful four nights at the hotel and were only sorry it then closed for the season so we could not stay longer. We had Lake front “comfort” rooms and ended up with a huge corner terrace overlooking the lake plus a spacious sitting area inside, plus three small balconies. An amazing room. Very comfortable beds, large tub with a shower, bidet, etc. very friendly helpful staff. The breakfast was lovely and served overlooking the lake. Nice heated pool and a long infinity jacuzzi also overlooking the lake. Beautiful sunsets. Great stay!
Wonderful week at the Belvedere.

Recommend this hotel highly. Lovely room and comfortable bathroom with bathrobes and slippers provided. Stunning views If you book a room with a view of the lake (well worth the extra cost). The food was excellent, the staff friendly and helpful (I didn't get much opportunity to practice my fading Italian, as they all spoke such excellent English), and the restaurant staff in particular were extremely helpful when we twice invited friends not resident at the hotel to join us for dinner. There's a great pool and spa too, set in fine, well-kept gardens. Go for it, you'll love it!
Wonderful Stay!

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Belvedere. We booked a Comfort Room but got upgraded to a Terrace Suite which was incredible with amazing views of Lake Como and Pescallo. We were celebrating a special occasion and they had a bottle of Prosecco and snacks waiting in our room which was a nice touch. The room was large with separate seating area and had a sizable terrace. Bathroom was elegant and clean. The bed was large, comfortable and less firm than most Italian mattresses which was nice. Of note, the double beds are apparently US King size beds. Towels were a bit cheap for a hotel of this quality but I am nitpicking here. The front desk staff spoke excellent English and were incredibly helpful/friendly.
We ate at the hotel restaurant twice and both nights were great. The chef does local and regional dishes with flavorful fish and meats. They did a great job for my vegan wife. The wine list was extensive and the service was first rate. The breakfast was also well stocked with excellent service and great coffee. We were able to meet the matriarch of the family and her daughter who are still active in running the hotel. Nice people that care about quality.
Some insider info for those still reading. We had a driver from MXP to Bellagio. The road along Lake Como to Bellagio is narrow and winding. The drivers are excellent but if you have any predisposition for car sickness maybe take the boat or train. It was a scenic but scary drive. Also, the hotel is about a 5-10 minute walk from downtown Bellagio which was perfect for us and is in a more quiet area. The hotel looks out over the eastern leg of Lake Como where most of Bellagio looks out the western leg. Equally beautiful with less boat traffic. The grounds are superbly manicured with an infinity pool. You also have views of the Villa Serbelloni Park. It is about a 10-15 minute walk down to the water at Pescallo, a small fishing village.
Bottom Line: The TA reviews are accurate. This is a lovely hotel with great service, views, and restaurant. Sure it is expensive but so is everything in Bellagio. You get what you pay for at Hotel Belvedere.
Lovely Staff and a Pleasant Stay

I simply love this hotel. It's tucked away on the other side of the peninsula facing Lecco, so you're away from what can be fairly heavy foot traffic in town (especially during the day). But it's also quite easily accessible; perhaps a 5/6 min leisure walk to town.
The staff is simply remarkable. They're always willing to help and do so ever so attentively. Checking in was a breeze upon our arrival and we were immediately shown to our room, a suite on the 2nd floor overlooking the lake. It was quite roomy with a separate living room (could likely sleep 4), ample closet space, 2 balconies with views of the lake, and coffee/tea service in the room.
The bathroom Included a tub with jacuzzi functionality and adequate bath products replenished daily. If I have a single gripe, it's that the counter space was minimal in the bathroom. Other than that, however, things were fine.
The Belvedere shines also in its outdoor offerings. There's nice pool and hot tub out back and a spacious sundeck to lay out and bask in the tranquil surroundings overlooking the lake. There's also bar service poolside and you can indeed order food delivery to the pool which has a small café-style dining area at the bar.
Even if you're not staying at the hotel, do yourself a favor and stop by the restaurant. Every meal we had there was delicious. In my opinion, it garners high marks for consistency. And once again, the staff more than delivered. Breakfast, which I believe is included in most reservations, is quite the affair. The spread is very impressive with all manner of offerings (including standard continental options) and eggs--however you like it--can be ordered on demand. One minor complaint, if I may, the regular coffee served with breakfast is terribly underwhelming, so you may want to opt for a cappuccino or espresso/americano instead.
All in all, a very nice experience. I hope to be back.
