After one year, it still sucks

Worse breakfast quality respect last year;
Air condition doesn't work in pretty much all the rooms (I've been in different rooms and asked to my colleagues about this);
Expensive;
Avoid at all costs

LincolnHoneyon 03/06/2017 13:55Great hotel. Staff were lovely and helpful. They have their own Taxi available to take and collect you from the hotel for a reasonable price. Resturant Food tasty. Rooms clean and comfy. Room a little warm and aircon didnt really cool it down sufficiently but that might have been down to me not using it properly??
One or two days are fine, forget about it if you need to stay any longer than that

- the AC is non-existent (I was SWEATING almost every day, with AC at "full power");
- the breakfast/buffet has limited choice and it's always the same every single day;
- internet is super SLOW and it didn't work for about 85% of my stay (and I'm a computer Engineer, this is basically the only thing that, as a guest, I require from a hotel);
- the hotel accepts plenty of Chinese tourists buses: be ready to stay up until midnight and be woken up before six because of them (a positive note: in the morning the hotel arrange a separated breakfast room just for these people);
- there's nothing to do in the surrounding area;
- it's too expensive;
Good luck in finding me in this hotel once again.
A family run hotel, pretty far away from main city so commuting can be a hassle and expensive.

I got the chance to visit Bologna in March 2016 during Cosmoprof-the most popular Trade exhibition this city is known for...
As expected, the place was choc-a -bloc with visitors all across the world,and there were endless queues all over,right from the airport to the taxi stands.
Finally ,after a long wait,we got our taxi and were on our way to the Hotel Bentivoglio...and it was a long but pleasant drive from the airport.
There were about six people managing the entire place...the staff was courteous and helpful.
Overall it was a comfortable stay,the rooms were spacious ,clean and airy.
Breakfast had cold cuts,breads,cheese,fruits,pies ;though be prepared to have the same menu for all days of the week ...and the enormous brown eggs they serve are raw, have to boiled as per one's preference(unlike many hotels in other parts of the world serving pre- boiled eggs). Limited choice for vegans and vegetarians.
They have a shuttle which will take you to the Cosmoprof/ Cosmopack venue at about 15 Euros per head.While returning,you are on your own.But they have a taxi to pick you up from a central place.So planning your travel itinerary can save you a lot of time and money.
All in all,a comfortable stay for a corporate traveler...though nothing to gush about.
