What People are saying

Comfortable and charming, in suburbs amongst locals.

Lorillion 04/01/2017 09:34

Our rooms, although small and simply furnished, were clean and comfortable. It seems that the hotel has been extended over the years and even has lodgings across the road (behind which you can park) so a variety of rooms is available. The interesting part of the hotel is the large, multi room restaurant with its tyrolian decor, ceramic heater and waitresses in dirndl. It was extremely busy when we were there and seemed well patronised by locals so unfortunately we couldn't dine there. We were surprised by how many were smoking inside. The hotel is situated on the outskirts of Innsbruck, close to a great shopping centre and also a fabulous 3storey sports store which my daughter though had good prices. Its also close to the castle which is a brisk walk through the road underpass, up some stairs and up through the park. The very helpful receptionist gave us clear directions but you might want your phone's GPS as you're not on in tourist territory here.

A great hotel.

Stayed here for a few nights on business and am really impressed. Set in a beautiful part of Innsbruck the hotel has very comfortable rooms and the staff are really friendly and helpful. My lack or German wasn't a problem. The restaurant served a selection of really good food and the breakfast was also very good I would definitely stay here again.

A bit away from city center, one night stay

Andi76nson 07/09/2016 19:23

Stayed here one night. It's a bit away from the city center but the bus stop is right beside the hotel, about 15 min trip into town. Hotel is good, on a quiet location. Hotel is nicely decorated, typical for the Alpine region which I like. Staff was friendly. Rooms were excellent & clean. Only complaint I had to pay for WiFi and I was not happy with breakfast, could've been more varied, not up to 4 star standard. I traveled with a group, I don't know maybe this was what they offer group travelers. I read other reviews and most are happy with the breakfast.
(This was my experience and I was there May 2015 just didn't have that time of date to choose from here.)

A Saturday in Innsbruck

My bike club decided to stay at the Bierwirt & what a good choice. Staff were great, rooms excellent & food marvelous.

Slightly hidden away it is quiet but calmly stylish. My single room was ample in size and pleasantly decorated.

One night on the way home from Italy

Jared Fon 09/08/2016 19:48

We (3ppl) decided to overnight at this hotel on our way home from Italy, it had good standard, nice bathrooms and a good restaurant, the service was varied, one waitress was rude and another was super nice. Good and plentifull breakfast, but our biggest complaint was lack of AC in the room, very hot and stuffy in the middle of summer, can not understand that a 4 star place does not have that, not even a fan to move the air around.
