Wonderful stay, so peaceful and Tuscan. Great staff. Fabulous setting and historic. Menu a bit restrictive if staying for more than a few days. Pool setting lovely but would be good to have bar service at it.

What a beautiful, beautiful place! Thank you for making our son & daughter-in-law's wedding absolutely majical! Hotel Borgo Casabianca was perfect! The staff ~ Annamarie, Andre, Jessica plus all the others ~ took such good care of us all! We can't say enough! The accomodations, the food, the rehearsal dinner, the service, and most importantly ~ the WEDDING ~ all just perfect!

We attended a wedding here in the summer of 2017 and were really amazed by the location. It is a picture book environment and perfect for weddings. The whole hotel - from the outside - is kept in good shape and well taken care of.
Downside:
the hotel is terribly mismanaged. Staff never smiles, has no clue about hospitality. It is an example of the Italien cliche; only take your money and hope you leave quickly.
The rooms have NO ANTIQUES! The furniture is simply outdated and old. The bathrooms have broken shower heads and plastic doors (the hotel claims to have 4 stars).
For a 4 star hotel in Tuscany, I expect the furniture to be either modern or true restored antiques, not some old wardrobe.
The rooms are 100€ per person - sadly a European concept (I am European). We paid 800€ for 2 nights for 4 people who independently asked for their own rooms. We ended up in a twin room apartment. This is simply unacceptable and should not be the same price.
If you have a wedding and I am sure it is very pricey, you can at least expect the staff to be nice. We had one Italian native with us who translated the staff's comments about some of the guests. They talked to each other about the women among the wedding guests and referred to them with profanity and described them in a derogative way as prostitutes. We couldn't believe it. They did not even hide their dislike.
It seemed the staff was not well-trained and only there for the main wedding season.
The breakfast is also an insult considering that there are 4 stars displayed next to the entrance of the hotel.
It is more like a continental breakfast with cheap concentrate juice (abysmal) and cheap pre-packaged jam.
It is not that hard to offer a decent breakfast, but management is solely focused on maximizing profit.
All in all, it was an amazing wedding, but no thanks to the staff or management, but simply to the people who put their heart into it - the guests.
Also - no wifi in hotel rooms.

We stayed at the hotel for a three nights earlier this summer while visiting the area for a wedding. This hotel is actually a small compound of buildings. We had a room with a living room - kind of like an apartment. Although we enjoyed our stay, I will list the pros and cons we found along the way:
Pros:
- Beautiful rolling hill type setting
- Very quiet and peaceful
- Large accommodations
- Ample parking
- Nice Staff
- Wine was tasty and a good value
A Few Cons:
- This hotel is definitely remote. If you are looking for a place that is nearby to other towns or destinations, this may not be a good fit.
- Some bugs in our room
- Breakfast had been sitting out and there was spoiled butter
- Not too easy to find without GPS
In general, this is a postcard-like setting with classic Tucson architecture and feel. We had a nice time, but not sure we would visit again because of the remoteness to other destinations. Thanks for a great visit.

Borgo Casablanca has a lot to offer with a beautiful and peaceful setting, pretty courtyard restaurant and great swimming pool and tennis court. It could be even nicer if the kitchenette and bathrooms in the apartments were updated. There was also some confusion over whether the apartments could be used for self catering or not and management needs to be clearer on this when taking bookings.
