We were received with warmth by the very helpful and friendly staff. The hotel/B&B (only a few rooms) is housed in a charming house in a relatively quiet street in Miraflores close to the bus lines on av. Arequipa that take you to the city centre. Kennedy park, the coastal parks and Miraflores restaurants are within walking distance. Breakfast in the patio/garden is lovely and cosy. Rooms are nice - but could use some maintenance and some more thorough cleaning. Beds are great. Rooms at the back are more quiet.

Gorgeous mesh of old world South American decor and charm, and spacious rooms nestled in the heart of Lima mins away from Huaca Pucllana ruins from 500 BC.
The staff made you feel like you were staying with family. Marco and the staff went above and beyond the call of duty to make you feel at home and comfortable!!!

We spent two nights in a chain hotel and wanted to extend by a day only to find the price would subject to a much higher rate so this resulted in booking into HW.
What a gem of a place. Not one to usually book something independent like this property I was a little dubious. I shouldn't have been. Lovely warm welcome by the owner, let us leave our bags there for several hours as we turned up quite early.
This place is genuine, warm, quirky and full of Peruvian relics and brilliant fireplaces. We booked the top floor apartment which has a mezzanine with the lovely big double bed and ample wardrobe space. A spiral staircase leads up to it which gives it huge character as does the wonderful fireplace and quirky domed red ceiling.
I didn't stop saying "wow" for about 10 minutes, it was beautiful. Large outside terrace with rattan furniture overlooks the road but it's lovely with big double doors opening from the kitchen/diner area. There's a lounge area and various Peruvian ornaments therein.
Kitchen has fridge, microwave, double hob. Bathroom has very large shower, some great toiletries and is a good size.
The whole place has a great feel to it, wish we were staying longer, what lovely people

We stayed as a family of 4 for over a week at Huaca Wasi and loved it. The hotel is conveniently located near the Huaca Pucullana and close to shops and restaurants in Miraflores. Despite being so central, it is quiet and peaceful and very restful to come back to after a long day out in Lima.
The bedrooms are very comfortable and the beds extremely so. We enjoyed having breakfast by the small interior garden in the mornings. Breakfast is good, with fruit salad, cereals, fresh bread and eggs cooked to order.
Everyone is very friendly and helpful especially Marco the owner who really helped to make our stay very enjoyable. Our daughter fell in love with Marco's dog and Marco was kind enough to take both of them out for walks together a number of times!
Our stay at Huaca Wasi was one of our most enjoyable hotel stays in Peru and we would have no hesitation in recommending it as a great place to stay.

We stayed for 2 nights, and were lucky enough to have a room upgrade. The room had its own front door, kitchenette, small lounge area, then a spiral staircase up to a mezzanine bedroom. It was nice, clean and spacious. Breakfast was good. The staff were really helpful and courteous. The hotel is located on a quiet street within easy walking distance of Miraflores centre, shops and restaurants. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
