We stayed in a spacious family apartment; three single beds on the loft + sleeping bed for two in the living room. VERY colorful with green, yellow and orange walls. The Spa area was nice with various pools, saunas and therapy baths. Entrance to the spa and a large gym was included in the accommodation price.
The hotel has a great and central location, next to the old town.
Negative sides: It was a really bad sewage smell in the toilet in our apartment. The toilet was luckily in a separate room from the shower- and bathroom.
The breakfast was very basic and located in a small room with few tables...

Room is quite spacious with a small fridge and shower. Mattresses were very good, but Mid Summer sun was shinning also by night and skylight window is not possible to make dark at all. A lot of TV channels and free WiFi. Breakfast is quite simple offering bred, porridge, cereals, yoghurt, two kind of cheese and cold cuts, eggs, sausages...You can use without fee gym and spa also in the Morning. Spa is good after excercise or if You like to swim or relax in warm water or to take spouts. One pool is outside and sunbeds also available. Next to dressing room was a small tropical sauna. Shower room was quite small.
Old town is very close and just a small walk to ferry terminals. You can have food from Rimi and alcoholic drinks also between 10-22.
This is a good choise!

We stayed at Braavo for two nights with two of our children in may. Was a bit put off that the reception area was under contruction during our stay and the staff had set up a temporary "reception" upstairs in the busy hall way.
Service was ok and fast, mabey a bit blunt and dull.
The familyroom was large but a huge set back for us was that there were three single beds upstairs and only a sofa bed downstairs! We had to open up the sofa ourselfs and make our own bed.. We dragged one matress topper from the extra bed upstairs and assumed we would get one more from the reception if we'd ask, cause the sofa was so hard without one. We wern't given one and their excuse was that the hotel is so full that they dont have extra matresses..
The gym and spa were great! Thats why we came. Breakfast was tidy a nd clean and ok, could have been more options.

This hotel had pretty basic rooms, decorated a bright yellow, lime green and orange - although while we were there some walls in the corridor were being painted chocolate brown, perhaps the owners are frustrated ice cream sellers? The room was minimally furnished (a desk, two chairs and a wardrobe - no safe). There's a pool and spa attached which were open to the public, and guests can use for free first thing.
The Old Town is reached easily from the hotel and costs only 10 euros by taxi to reach from the airport. Breakfast is an odd affair, like eating in a small cafeteria at your local swimming leisure centre, which shouldn't come as a surprise as that's what you are doing. All in all, a fine, basic, no-frills hotel in a good location in a city that isn't cheap to stay or eat in.

The only thing lacking was hooks for towels in the bathroom. Location, facilities, breakfast - fantastic! A few steps from major attractions. 10 minute ride from the airport and 10 minute walk from the ferry terminal to Helsinki.
