The staff is lovely, the rooms are new and clean, and the continental breakfast is beautifully done. I really liked the Termini neighborhood. It's an easy, affordable taxi ride to anywhere you want to go (Coliseum, Vatican City, Trestevere, etc.). I would highly recommend a stay at the Smooth Hotel!

We had the pleasure of spending 5 nights at this hotel in late October, the rooms were spotless, the breakfast was very good and the Staff went out of their way to be helpful.
It is located within easy walking distance of the main railway station but maybe too far to wheel your bags, however a cab is about 10 euro's. There are numerous restaurants within a short walk of the hotel and the hop on hop off busses are but a short walk away.

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Smooth Hotel Termini in Rome. The hotel was comfortable with modern rooms and a good breakfast buffet. Staff was very helpful and offered helpful advice about local restaurants.
Transit was good with buses nearby and the subway and main train station were a 10 minute walk away. We found it was about a half hour to walk into the central area where many of the key sites were.
All in all it was an enjoyable place to stay for our week in Rome. One note...the hotel offers a free smartphone for visitors to use. I had a package on my phone so didn't make use of it but a nice idea.

Our maiden trip to Italy , was fantastic! We are a family of 3.
We stayed @ Rome, Sorrento , Florence, Venice & Lake Como.
At each location we stayed for a minimum of 3 days.
Rome has this perfect blend of the modern day world integrated with their history & culture ; so conventional but yet very traditional. I loved the feel of Rome.
We stayed @ Smooth hotel near Termini metro line. The hotel is situated at walkable distance to the metro line both Red& Blue; hence all the major attractions are easy to cover on our own. Their staff were very customer friendly & hospitable. They even help you plan your sightseeing or recommend travel options & provide you city maps which help you navigate at ease.
Their breakfast buffet has a good spread of eatables. The room size was ok (considering it is the case in most places in Europe) , had kettle & tea / coffee sachets. Most importantly for us; their air conditioning was available for use. In other parts of Italy we experienced that the hotel A/C was switched off & not available even on request. We were told they would be switched on only by mid May 😳
Overall an excellent hotel to stay from a location, service , amenities & cost perspective !!!

Had a overnight stay here, the hotel is small but has very nice room which was spotless and very modern. The buffet breakfast was lovely and only a 10 min walk from termini station. We were also upgraded which made us have a bigger room
