The beach, the ocean and the sounds and activity of them are right out front. The sounds of the surf, waves, roosters, tourists, ticos to and from work, (bar next door kinda loud occasionally ) Great and friendly staff. Not a fancy place, worth the modest fee.

Very quaint and beautiful hotel, located right on the beach. The best part was listening to the sounds of the waves in the morning. The ocean was basically the backyard! There was some noisy roosters, but don't let that dissuade you from staying--the staff was nice enough to provide earplugs to cancel out the noise. Even so, after awhile you can tune them out. The best part was waking up to the ocean, climbing up the beach.

This is not a fancy hotel. It IS one of the most price effective and well located hotels in the area though. Bring your earplugs for late night music from the bar next door and early morning roosters. You won't find TVs here, but you will be steps from the beach. The attached restaurant is also good.

We've been first time at Hotel Brasilito with my wife around three years ago (2014) and we passed a nice time at this hotel. We enjoyed more than anything else the hospitality of the "ticos" working at the hotel. We also enjoyed the beach changing from the black long beach located right in front to the hotel to the Conchal beach just few meters away.
Then, we decide to visit Costa Rica one more time and we travelled to Monteverde to see the Cloud Forest and then we went once again to Brasilito to expend some time on the beach. At this time, we found everything changed and worse at the hotel. The room was bad and looks like the same we were three years ago, and so the matress that was shattered, and the springs mortified me during the nights. The room wasn't really chipper for the quality. Not even a fridge to have a bottle of could water.
On top of this, the place is noise due to one bar located in front were the people gathered to hear music loudly up to almost 11:00pm.
Beside these issues, the restaurante commissioned to another guy, has a reduced menu with very few options. But the worse are the prices. We do not have problem to pay whatever it cost, but I don't like to be fooled.
As I said before, the best as always are the people working there which make the bad things looks better.
Anyway, a bud experience this time at Hotel Brasilito, which I wouldn't recommend until the management will really change for serious.

The location close to the beach is very good. The outside area and restaurant is good. Our impression from the rooms were not that good. Our rooms were not really clean and seem to be a little bit older. However the price is fair for what you get.
