we stayed here for a wk during the Art Biennale 2017. The hotel is at excellent location. The staff was wonderful as well as service. There are many restaurants near by. It was also very very quiet during the evening. ( the elevator was tiny, but that is pretty much the standard, across the europe

This is such a lovely hotel in Venice! Our room had a views of the canal and San Marco, imagine that. The room interiors and bathroom looked like the inside of a boat and was super cute and clean. The breakfast was amazing an they even set us a table outside facing the canal. There is nothing not to love about this hotel!

HB is a gem. We booked it through a travel website and really weren't sure what to expect. Our expectations were exceeded! The room was beautiful (We had a view of the canal and San Marco!) and the staff were all friendly, helpful and courteous. I will definitely stay at HB again when I return to Venice. It's location is perfect, away from the crowds in San Marco but close enough to walk there and everywhere. The Arsenale vapporetti stop is two minutes way making transport to Murano, Lido and the Airport simple. You will enjoy your stay here, I'm sure.

Away from the crowds yet within walking distance to The Arsenal, Giardino, SAN Marco and Teatro Fenice, all of which I visited by walking ( I’m 65 yrs old).
Beyond this, the breakfast is excellent, the room I had (204) was big. Staff especially friendly, especially Roberta at the front desk and the woman in charge of breakfast.

Well located, appointed, and maintained. Polite and helpful staff. Our room, nicely decorated, on a smaller side though, with a great view. Breakfast of a good quality and adequate by choice (good cappuccino). Lift access to all four floors. Very good sound proofing, especially windows.
