Just came back from a 3 night break and had a great time, the staff were very friendly and professional, our room was large and so was the bathroom and everything was very clean, we were offered an upgrade to a room overlooking the sea but decided not to as the rooms to the side overlooking spare land were south facing, all rooms have balconies,at check in ( we were early) we were asked to go in for lunch and they would ring us when our rooms were ready and promptly did,The food ,well what can I say, there are buffets and there are buffets,this was great ,everything including fresh griddle meat & fish. I could go on but visit and see for yourselves, oh and great value

My husband and I have just returned from a week at the Hotel Cap Negret and we really enjoyed ourselves. We upgraded to a corner room overlooking the pool with a lovely view of the sea and the old town. The food was great with plenty of choice. It was a nice treat to have a glass of Cava at breakfast! Also churros and chocolate every morning. Drinks were reasonably priced and all the staff were helpful and friendly, especially the lovely ladies on reception. (Sorry I can't remember their names). We loved the town of Altea. When we go to Spain we like to see the real Spain and this was certainly it. Lots of nice Spanish bars tucked away and lots of friendly locals. We caught the train a few times as it was so easy with the station being only five minutes walk away from the hotel. We visited Denia, Calpe, Alicante and Benidorm and also walked into Albir. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Cap Negret and hope to return soon.

Everything was perfect.
Lovely food,
Sweet people who works there.
And i have got new friends.Many lovely guests.
I have been in Altea many times,this was my best time there.\,in this lovely hotel.
I will definitly be back,

A lovely hotel to spend a few days or more. Easy to get to many interesting places. Rooms spacious with sea views. Dining room spacious and food excellent. Bar prices reasonable. Swimming pool heated private beach area. Something for everyone.

Hotel Cap Negret is an excellent hotel for the active holiday. Located right at the beach, with plenty of cycling/MTB and running tracks and routes right outside the door.
The hotel is surrounded by the mountain ranges of Bernia, Aitana and Gelada (located in the Natural Park of Serra Gelada), which also has the most amazing tracks for hiking/trekking.
The old cozy town of Altea is located near by (walking distance), and a few hundred meters away is the city seafront with miles of beach or lots of cafes.
Highly recommended.
