Hotel Boccassini is a five minute walk away from the Vaporetto station "Fondamente Nuove" which makes it super convenient. Placed in a rather tranquil part of Venice you still have a strategic hotspot and get everywhere pretty fast. There is a supermarket 10 min away but also typical shops and delicious restaurants are all in walking distance.
The hotel is clean and the shared bathrooms are well kept and guests respect them.
The welcome is warm (yeah its actual pretty personal), quick and professional. The inner patio of the hotel is a convenient oasis to relax before or after hitting the city buzz. Good service/product for the price. + They do offer a breakfast which is optional and it does make a lot of sense having breakfast there. Venice is a maze and you do need energy before jumping into it.

My husband and I stayed here for a anniversary celebration and it couldn't have been more perfect. The location is excellent in the quieter streets on the outside of Venice yet all sights are easily walkable. The streets here were never crowded which we loved. The staff and friendly and helpful (they chilled a bottle of champagne for us and gave us champagne glasses to borrow :) )
The rooms are simple, clean and completely adequate. especially at such a reasonable price (it is Venice after all!)
Our favourite feature has to be the garden. It is absolutely divine! We drank our champagne here and it was perfect, cool and quiet and lush. Definitely stay here!

Clean, quiet and fairly cheap for Venice.
The hotel website says how to get to the hotel using the vaporetti but doesn't mention that the vaporetti from the bus station to here stops at 8pm. We got very lost and got to the hotel at 1.15am having paid 60 Euro for a water taxi.
The room was very clean and we had a private bathroom which was small but clean too. The bed was uncomfortable and the room was fairly cold.
Breakfast is basic.

Just spent five nights in this hotel, quiet en-suite double room (no. 111), exceptionally pleasant staff and lovely garden (with cat!). It's about 300 yards from the 'waterbus' stop and there are some lovely restaurants nearby. Will certainly stay here again if visiting Venice.

Bad value for money.Rooms basic,old bedding,uncomfortable beds.No privacy,could hear 'a mouse fart'+bathroom movements of other guests.Staff arrogant,rude. Charge in advance so you trapped on arrival.
