All rooms have balconies with great views of the sea and town. Perfect for enjoying a bottle of wine during the sunset before dinner. Room was clean and nicely decorated.
Breakfast was delicious; Drinks, yoghurts, platters and other creations made from homemade & local ingredients. The meals and even details like the dinnerware were different from day to day, making it an exciting experience just to get down to eat breakfast :).
The service was top notch. Renee and Katerina worked hard every day to ensure all guests had the best stay. We got great beach/store/restaurant recommendations, help with booking cars, restaurants, transfer and much more. Nothing was too much trouble.
The hotel is placed on a hill, with a beach (2-3min walk) on one side and the town to the other. Close to everything.
We could not recommend it more!

My husband and I stayed for a week in a Superior room at this charming and peaceful hotel. Our room had the largest balcony with absolutely stunning views of Kokkari and the sea - with Turkey in the distance (all rooms have balconies and terrific views). All areas of the hotel are beautifully and thoughtfully furnished and the breakfasts, prepared by Renee (the owner) and served by Katerina were works of art - that also tasted delicious! The hotel is a short walk to the town centre and Renee's recommendations regarding restaurants are spot on. Both Renee and Katerina are extremely friendly and helpful and went out of their way to assist us, particularly at the end of our stay when there was an on-again/off-again air traffic controllers strike. They very quickly understood how we like to spend our time and gave us plenty of tips and advice on where to go and how to get there during our stay. I had been a bit concerned that the rooms are not air-conditioned but the beautiful sea breeze and fan were actually even better.
The only negative was the bathroom could have done with a frameless glass shower instead of a shower curtain but this does not detract from the high standard of general care and attention to detail experienced by us during our stay.

Lovley room, excellent balcony with a perfect view of the town and the sea. Breakfast was very nice and we felt at home with lovely Renee and Katarina. We hope to come back again! Only thing we missed was airconditioning ;)
The people in Kokkari make you feel very welcome and the service was great.

We enjoyed our stay. The room had a panoramic view and clean. The breakfast at the garden was a kind of ceremony. This modern and well decorated boutique hotel gave us a relaxation feeing. I have to say that the owner and her asssistant were always kind, hospitable and helper.

We had the pleasure of spending a week in this hotel mid June. Renee and Katerina are amazing hosts, we would recommend anyone who wants a relaxing romantic experiment to stay at Cattleya. Little personal touches make this a very special place for example we told Renee when booking it was our anniversary trip and upon arrival we were given a choice of rooms and a bottle of champagne :)
Location wise it is set on a hill overlooking Kokkari harbour and the quiet beach to the right of it, also with views of turkey across the ocean. They are the best views and in such a peaceful setting. It's a very easy 2 minute walk to the harbour or to the beach. Kokkari is the gem of the island such a magical romantic place.
The rooms are spacious, beautifully decorated and inaccurately clean. The bed is extremely comfortable and the wifi the best we have ever had while being away. We loved sitting on our private balcony enjoying the views and peacefulness of Kokkari.
The hotel has a very homely relaxing feeling. The service is more than 5 star nothing is too much trouble and you are treated like royalty while staying.
The fresh continental breakfasts are some of the best ever. We were served fresh yoghurt, fruits, meats, cheeses, varieties of breads and the most beautiful home made treats. Katerina does a perfect job of serving and topping up drinks. She is very knowledgable on all things to do with Samos and we enjoyed our chats with her she is very kind and friendly. She is truly a great asset to Cattleya. We are dearly missing those wonderful breakfasts.
Renee is an amazing host and nothing is ever too much trouble she gave us so much valuable information about what to do, where to eat, how to get to places, car rental, excursions and absolutely anything that we needed to know. She gives an extremely individual and personal level of service to each guest. She personally showed us different ways to get to places and took us out for drinks. She goes out of her way and does whatever it takes to give you an amazing experience in Samos. All of the recommendations that she gave us all ended up being spot on. She has some amazing stories and really is an asset to the island of Samos as well as a brilliant hotel owner.
We miss our morning chats and this amazing hotel and will definitely be returning. Renee, Katerina and Stella all do a wonderful job and there is great pride taken in everything to do with this hotel. The effort they all put in really shows in making this hotel the little slice of heaven that it is. We have never felt so relaxed before. It's like staying with friends a great experience.
