Excellent location right next to the city center with plenty free parking space in close vicinity (be careful of market day at the parking lot next to the stadium)
15 minute walking distance from railway station
Do submit your key if you leave, or run the risk of being locked out after dark. (The key rack is checked, and if the rack is empty, everyone is assumed to be in their rooms)
If I'm in Aosta again, this is where I'm staying.
May qualify as boutique hotel
Aldo Ron 08/10/2017 22:46A special place for its location, for its proximity to the Roman bridge and for the quality of management. It has a subdued elegance and it is remarkably quiet for being so central. Though thoroughly renovated, the building dates back to the XVII century. The breakfast was in tune with the hotel's style: it may be a stunning experience if served in the patio by the Roman bridge during the summer months. By all means, pay the $7/night for parking,
Cosy and welcoming
Fiona Bon 07/10/2017 17:23The hotel is well located a short walk from the historic centre and there is a public car park nearby. The staff were all delightful and very helpful. The room was pleasant and very clean.The price of the room was very reasonable for the facilities and included breakfast
They recommended doing the guided tour of the city on the Sunday morning, which was excellent. (Only in Italian or French though)
We had a very nice weekend in Aosta and would definitely go back and would stay again in the Hotel Cecchin

Parking and accessing the hotel require some effort so I would not recommend it to people sensitive to a little challenge related to parking.

rockyknollon 28/09/2017 14:56We stayed a night at Hotel Cecchin before starting a five-day walk on the Via Francigena from Gran San Bernardo to Pont St Martin. The rooms were comfortable and Jean-Marie kindly kept our big luggage for two nights before we spent a second night at the hotel on our way back through Aosta.
A very good breakfast is provided, and excellent restaurants and bars are close by. We would happily recommend staying at Cecchin.
We had by email sought the hotel's advice on local transport arrangements but had no response. Once there it became clear that their knowledge and advice in advance would have been useful. We had emailed in English, which may have been an obstacle: communicating in French or Italian would probably help to avoid such wrinkles.
