I stayed at Chbat 3 nights. The first night I was the only guest in the whole hotel. The staff is really friendly. The owner was very helpful at arranging a driver to explore the amazing Qadisha Valley. Breakfast (included in the price) was excellent. The staff prepared a lunch for me to take away when hiking (2 lunches = 24000 Lebanese pounds).
The room (with en-suite bathroom) was clean but old: Old carpet, old TV, old furniture. Both room and bathroom need some refurbishment. The view from the window is wonderful.
Internet: There's no Wifi in rooms. Only in reception area and paying 10 USD for 24 hours internet service. Travelling on my own, being the only guest in the hotel my first night and with no internet connection made me feel a bit isolated. Definitely this is an overpriced hotel. The staff suggested me to have dinner in their restaurant, but my priority then was to find a bar / restaurant with wifi which I found in Makhlouf, just down the road by the junction.
Wondering around Bcharre's streets I discovered Hotel Palace, which I considered to book before travelling to Lebanon but in the end I didn't due to lack of recent reviews in tripadvisor. Well: it is still open and running. The owner showed me a room. The idea of moving there crossed my mind but I decided not to do it as I already paid my whole stay in Chbat, but It is more modern, well located, cheaper and better option than Chbat... and with internet in rooms.

We were three friends who visited in the end of April. The hotel manager is a very nice man. He gave us excellent advice as to what to do and see. There was snow in the mountains, but nice and warm in Bcharre. The view from the balcony was amazing. We had 2 days full of exciting experiences like the Holy Valley, Cedar Forest and much more.

We stopped at the Le Montagnard restaurant and enjoyed the wonderful ambience. The owner extended great hospitality so would recommend anyone to stay or eat in this pleasant establishment. It is situated along the road to the cedars. So the view of the mountains and Qadisha valley is outstanding.

the hotel location is pretty good, very easy to find. has an amazing view specially in winter. Rooms are good and well maintained taking into consideration the price. the owner of the hotel is very friendly, staff not that much. good and delicious breakfast. recommended for families and in winter.

The hotel is located in a convenient part of the Qadisha Valley (Holy Valley) which overlooks a beautiful vista of the surrounding mountains and the valley itself. The food prepared was good and also of a sizable portion. When I was there, the hotel was rather empty and I had most of the place to myself. The staff can also arrange for guided tours to areas around the valley as well as pick up and drop off from the Beirut International Airport. Overall my stay there was pleasant.
