Hotel Chinar is located in centre of city. I always went here for dinner with my friends during late night but once i went here for party function. Banquet hall was well developed by them. Also room were in old style but okay.

It's one restaurant that have been visiting since my college days and the best dish has been the chicken afghani with gravy. Not sure how they make it but never seen the same dish in any other restaurant or any cookery book or show. Just splendid.
One thing which has been concerning me of late has been the shift in the type of people from family to bachelors or group (mostly titled towards drinking).

Its not a grand looking fancy building.
But its interior is embellished with what you need,
Restaurant has a sort of retro look with old hindi instrumental playing in the background.
Food is obviously very good.

Hotel Chinar is located on the main road of Ranchi and is in the heart of the city. It is a relatively old property, but the rooms are good. The staff are helpful and the service is good. Overall a good place to stay,

Great food and service.
