Frederick Won 31/10/2017 08:22WE stayed at the hotel for a visit to the D Day beaches. The staff were very attentive and made sure that we had a nice experience. Our room was nice and had a view of the beach. The food was very good. There is a free car park just round the corner and a very nice bar in the same road.

Sunshine19225on 05/09/2017 18:42I have to say first of all that the owner, Luis Rodriguez, is a very dear friend. This hotel is a part of history, not your average boutique hotel but much better. In my experience, Luis, a French trained chef, prepared us the best dinner meal we had in the 9 days we travelled in Europe! The salmon dissolved like butter in your mouth and the duck was to die for! Our room was bright, clean and very comfortable. We sat outdoors in the evening and enjoyed the friendliness of other hotel guests (Linny and Harry) and passers by. The beach is full of history! A must see while visiting Normandy. The town is lovely! Luis, terrific job!
Hotel is a little tired but the breakfast is good
4coasterson 11/08/2017 02:32We stayed here for two nights and enjoyed the plentiful and varied breakfast. The hotel room was pretty small, with stained jute carpeting that has seen better days. The wifi was nonexistent for most of the time we were there. The location is excellent for visiting the Normandy landing beaches. Arromanches is a 5 minute walk away and there are quite a few restaurants.

Lazhar Ion 03/04/2017 06:45I stayed at this hotel a while back and it was a wonderful experience. Make sure you engage with Luis and ask him for ideas and things to do; he is a man full of resources and off-the-beaten-path sights.
The dinner at Le Pappagall was a bang for the bucks we paid, delicious meal and the recommendations were a success.
We only stayed three nights but they were wonderful, and Normandy is a stunning landscape (make sure you try a few glasses of Calvados ;))
Good value for money
Jeroen Bon 06/03/2017 11:50Definitely good value for money. It is a small hotel with a very friendly owner who is always available to help his guests with any questions you have. The rooms are not very big but clean and well taken care of with comfortable beds. The location of the hotel is ideal, close to the beach and a car can be parked 50 metres away. Would recommend this hotel and come back the next time we visit this region.
