Small hotel in good location with recently refurbished rooms. Ideal as a base, and very helpful staff. Good local restaurants within a few minutes walk, and ten minutes from the airport by taxi, or by hotel transfer.

Love the fact that 2 yrs later when I return it was the same staff. Tells you they treat their people right. Rooms are comfortable and not bad on price. Local food and grocery store as well as places for a dinner all within a 2 block walk.

Because our airline had changed the time schedule we needed to stay over 1 night on our trip from maputo to amsterdam. The hotel is appr. 15 min from the airport and provides decent rooms for reasonable prices. The lady at the reception was very friendly. After a long day we didn't want to go out and ordered room service. This was rather dissapointing.

the room was a good size and bathroom was clean and basic, but the lobby is tiny and no seats, so we had to wait our turn standing. The shower was blowing cold warm water which made it uncomfortable to shower. the hotel is some distance from the downtown and with no metro station nearby. Metro station is a 10 minute walk.

The staff were great, very accommodating as we arrived early and they let us keep our bags behind reception whilst we explored the city. The rooms were clean, I remember the beds being quite hard, but that's just my preference. Easily accessible from the train station too.
