Visited Dalhousie in Early June, there was peak summer and Dalhousie was hot and was reeling under tourist pressure. The points to be noted are:
1. The location of the hotel was at Subhas Chawk, around couple of km s away from the city centre. The surroundings were calmer but in the evening, if you have to venture out, you have to walk as there was restriction in vehicle movements in and around the town to avoid traffic jams.
2. The room provided to us was smaller in size but had a good view.
3. There was no AC in the room, not even a ceiling fan. The only wall mounted fan provided was insufficient in a hot night for a family of three.
4. The food was costly, but average.
5. The front desk, room service and cleanliness were all satisfactory. We had no complaint over it.
6. Stayed for only one night, so didn't complain much. However, the hotel should think about providing adequate fans/ AC during peak summer

Very good location but the rooms need to be renovated because there is hardly any proper mobilecharging points. The doors can also be changed and made new. Since we were on official bookings it was good for us

The staying in the hotel Ravi View was very pleasant and enjoyable for us. We liked the location very much. The service people everywhere were very nice and polite. We liked the breakfast very much LOVE TO VISIT AGAIN

This hotel located near subhash chowk. Location is very good there are good open space for sitting outside for enjoy nature. Hotel is surely by palm trees. There are no traffic even you can enjoy walking on road.
If we think about rooms there are some rooms there no ventilation. So we will feel humidity. Other things are good.

I stayed with my family for 5 days from 24th may 2015 onwards. Hotel manager Mr tilak raj is very supportive. For first two days my daughter was not well .they served the food accordingly. All staff was supportive. But at the time of check out when I offer a tip of Rs 100 they denied they said we charged @100 per day which was shocking to me but overall experience was good.
I drive from delhi from my own car therefore must keep in mind from pathankot to dalhousie don't go via nurpur it's long and very dangerous road. After reaching pathankot cross the river bridge and then take right. This is main high way
