Below average hotel,but yes hospitality was good. No views from Windows, location is good for restaurants. Good for solo travellers mainly,who are seeking for low budget, was there for two nights,but had only breakfast,it was a package from yatra.com . I will not recommend for families who seek Comfort

I booked for 2 nights in Darjeeling Palace.The check in was pretty good all porters came down for luggage immediately as my family was of 19 pax so the luggage was alot.
Pros :
Nice and big rooms
Mall road nearby walking time - 10 mins for normal person
Nice food
Wifi In Lobby or reception area
ATM bang opposite to Hotel
Local Market Near By just 5 mins walking distance.
Cons :
Cleanliness for rooms would be better.
TV nt in great condition.
Less towels
Suggestions -
It will be 5 stars from me if we provide towels as per occupancy Nd change it on daily or basis.
Rest overall the property is great and staff is friendly .I definitely recommend it for Economy or Budget tourists and travellers as well.

We stayed there for 1 night, place was clean had hot water for 2 hrs in the morning and evening. Staff was friendly and the Manager was very helpful. Location of the hotel is just a stone throw distance from the place where you get dropped when you arrive in Darjeeling. Mall is just Max 5 min walk for the hotel.
For food in hotel you will have to order well in advance so that they may procure fresh items and prepare your food.

- Excellent location, very close to the market area in Darjeeling
- Nothing great to say about the service.
- The rooms don't have ventilation, since the buildings are constructed too close to each other.
- Not very great in terms of cleanliness either.

We found the hotel to be very good hotel, especially the staff was very co-operative. Beds were comforting. Food was nice. It is located on main road. Although it was a last minute booking and that too during a peak season, the rates were attractive and every penny was worth spent.
Good luck to the staff.
