Visited for two nights, for a nearby concert. Excellent hotel, extremely polite and helpful staff. Beautiful, comfortable & clean. Short walk to the centre of Monza for the train to Milan, pleasant neighbourhood, right next to a nice park.

Stayed here for two nights as a base for Monza race circuit and a visit to Milan.
Check in was superb, the room was just fantastic and full of character.
The front of house team were very helpful and were the same with every guest which was lovely to see as it's quite an upmarket hotel

We spent two nights at Hotel de la Ville. The customer service were first class. All staff were very attentive to all guests. The hotel is located opposite the palace and big rural park. The free bike hire was an added bonus. The rooms were very spacious and breakfast was first class.

Hotel de la Ville proved to be one of the most exquisite, stunning, and hospitable hotels I have been to in all of my travels. The interiors are otherworldly and beautifully imaginative, the staff is incredibly warm and helpful, the rooms are comfortable and chic, and the Derby Grill is to die for. On all accounts my fiancee and I had a 5+ star experience. We left in true sadness to say the trip went by too quickly and in large part to our stay here. Small, luxury, family owned hotel operating at the highest level. I hardly ever write reviews but I cannot help to sing their praises. We will absolutely be back. Thank you!

Our last night in Italy, on our way back to the UK, and we found this grand hotel opposite Monza Park. It features in "Small Luxury Hotels of the World" (page 320) and is akin to staying in a luxury house. The staff are very friendly and attentive (we were outnumbered at dinner - which was excellent) and the rooms recall an era of stately homes. The bath "towels" are large enough to be bed spreads. The town never sleeps so traffic noise would be an issue without the air con and double glazing. Not cheap but very good.
