The location is wonderful and right in the heart of things. It is a old hotel that might be missing some of the modern amenities but makes up for out in charm. Very clean. Our room was huge. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

My husband and I stayed here in June. We really liked the hotel and everyone was very friendly. Great value. We loved the rooftop patio and the restaurant. The laundry service was also excellent. The pool water was cold, even in June!

I loved the idea of staying in the first church in Guadalajara, that turned into a nunnery. It was built in the 1600's. it has a ton of history and is in walking distance to everything!!! We took Uber's when we didn't feel like walking. Rides averaged $1-$2.
Rooms are well kept. Bathrooms are newly renovated. However beds are okay, carpets feel a little grimy and since it is an older building. The air is stale. I joked it smelled like stigmata and nun feet. I would definitely stay here again!

We stayed here for 8 nights. The hotel is very charming. Nothing fancy, just very nice. The room was very clean and the air conditioner worked perfectly. We stayed on a Junior Standard Suite. It was spacious enough. It was nice to have the table and sofa in the room. TV was nice. They had many Mexican channels (obviously) one Spaniard channel and CNN in English. We were able to hear some of the street noise since the windows are not sound proof (or are just old) but it was not an issue since the hotel is located in a very quiet area.
The fact that this is a historical place was a big plus. We enjoyed staying at a place that used to be a convent. We loved that the place is next to the first catedral built in Guadalajara.
The staff was very nice. They were very attentive. We rented a room for my parents for two nights and the staff made sure their room was in the same floor near our room. I thought that was very nice. Their room was also very nice and clean. It appeared that most of the staff spoke English.
We were very satisfied with this hotel. We totally recommend this hotel. Again this is not a fancy hotel but a great one if you are not looking for luxurious type of place. This is a historic, comfortable, quiet, clean, tranquil, nice place in the middle of downtown.
We are looking forward to staying there next year.

I was impressed with the staffs ability to speak English well. The food in the hotel restaurant was very good. The hotel is close to many great sites for tourists. Overall I like this hotel. It has charm and character. You can feel the history while staying here.
Me quedé impresionado con la capacidad de personal para hablar bien inglés. La comida en el restaurante del hotel era muy bueno. El hotel está cerca de muchos sitios para los turistas. En general me gusta este hotel. Tiene encanto y carácter. Puedes sentir la historia mientras estás aquí.
