This joint is at the real downtown living area of Chaoyang District. I was in Beijing for a month for company work and the office's in the CBD area, when I got off work I got back to the area the apartment at, I was classically going from working mode to living mode: Walk through the Taikoo Li shopping area(like Causeway Bay), have my dinner there, then go to the Workers Stadium to watch some game playing(or go to swim or gym), then go back to the apartment and maybe have another snack or have a drink in the podium then go up to my unit to sleep for another working day.

The owner is very nice but this is not a real hotel. From outside is not possible to find it, so it's complicated to reach it by taxi. You have to call the owner, he get with you in the taxi and shows the way to the taxi driver.
The room is inside a residencial building, without any signal or brand. The room is very basic and many "little animals" will live with you ( like beatles). Anyway the wifi access is good and it is close to the beautiful chaoyang soho.
For about the same price is possible to find some international 4 star hotel, this should be ok only in case of a low price. But i paid a lot and i had to add money for the early check in ( i arrived at about 10,30 a.m.).

We stayed at the Metropolis Inn Studio at Forte International for about two weeks. The location is great, the studio is within walking distance to CBD, Sanlitun, Workers Stadium. Green places such as Tuanjiehu Park and a little further Ritan Park are easily accessible. Metro line 10 is just 3 minutes walk away. The studio is light and clean, and the owner is extremely friendly, helpful and effecient.
