A home away from home
Lucianna Con 13/11/2017 23:28Hotel dei Congressi in Castellammare di Stabia is located between Sorrento and Pompeii.
I stayed here because my parents were from here and I have lots of family i wanted to visit i September.
T he reception staff was welcoming and very helpful .
I really loved the breakfast. The Breakfast staff were cheerful, provided excellent service and were very friendly.
TERESINA , LISA and GIOvanni were there every morning to greet me and make sure i had my cappuccino . I received excellent service every morning FROM THEM .
I would return to Hotel Congressi in a heart beat.
I was treated like family and felt very safe and well fed.
The room was very clean and offered wonderful views of the Vesuvius.
I t is a 15 walk to the Circumvesuviana Train which runs to Sorrento, Pompeii and Naples.

Great hotel great location
PeteDarkWingDuckon 06/08/2017 13:34The hotel was great the dinning room is beautiful, the terrace pool, and the staff were all very polite and helpful - due to touring Naples we were out travelling / site seeing and would have loved a few more days to spend relaxing in the hotel.
Beautiful location to relax and swim
Dave Won 16/07/2017 15:03We were not staying in the hotel but it was possible to book to use the swimming pool for 15€ pp per day weekends or 10€ on weekdays. The hotel is set on a hill on the edge of town and has fantastic views of the surrounding mountains. The pool areas itself has beautiful gardens with classic pillars forming a border with shaded tables and chairs. There is a very friendly pool bar so all in all a great day out.

Very nice and helpfull staff.
Since they were working on AC on 2nd floor we got upgraded to suite. Both rooms were big and very comfortable.
My advice is to have at least a car since castelemare is not that nice too visit. Go to amalfi, sorrento or book a trip to capri island (ask reception - they help you book with transfer from hotel)!
Of course we visited pompeii and vesuvius is an option as well.
For eating out we went to vico equens and sorrento! BReaksfast in hotel was ok, some staff were more friendly than the other, offering us baked omelette every day.
In weekends the place is perfect for weddings so there will be a party once in a while!
Go to the terrace on the fourth floor, nice views and good summer breezes
Good spot for views and exploring
caroleburrows9on 24/07/2016 15:48Stayed here a couple of nights as part of a tour. Away from the main Bay of Naples locations but handy for them all including a railway station nearby if you don't want to drive. Lovely views across to Vesuvius. Good bedroom with balcony (but had to request a second chair), spacious public areas and a lovely pool. Food was quite decent and the staff tried hard to give good service. Parking across a busy road. Lift up to the hotel from the road.
