Beautiful property with amazing location minutes away from tons of restaurants, bars, pharmacy etc. Also the view itself of the hotel is incredible overseeing the ocean and the marina
Their breakfast buffet was really nice and the seafood restaurant is fantastic
The staff are very professional and friendly
Would be my number one choice if staying in Coronado again

I was there with my sister because every guides books and research on the web pushed us to go to see this amazing hotel... one think have really amazing the house around and the beach... Fortunately we didn’t sleep there, we had just a breakfast, 22 dollars for 2 cappuccino, one croissant and one small muffin...no service, no waiter around us, I stunned up and I waited 8 mn for some napkins...doesn’t matter... the real problem was this: I wanted a sandwich but....the nice fly was flyed around the sandwiches shop window...p.s. are the owners Chinese...mmm...???Yessssssss
The worst think you can do is go in this hotel!!!

This hotel has such charm and excellent staff. It is a little more expensive but you can't beat it's charm. They also are more then helpful when it comes to allergies while eating on property. We always enjoy it here and will be back. I would suggest staying in the Victorian part.

While this is an iconic hotel, we were very unhappy with a number of things -- which is rare for us. The arrival was choppy at best. We were not able to use the carts for our luggage; only the valets are allowed to use them. We like to handle our own luggage, so we carried them all up to the room ourselves. Read the fine print! They charged us $39.00 per day for self-parking, and a resort fee, regardless of whether we used any extra amenities. Despite the fact that their room prices are not high, we felt nickled and dimed to death. Left a sour taste in our mouths. We stayed in the old part of the hotel, which we found enjoyable, with its tilting floors. Room was spacious, and the bed and linens were wonderful. We had a partial ocean view (coastal). If you can afford it, go for the full view. The partial view wasn't worth the extra cost. The location of the hotel is amazing. Lots of sandy beach. We'd probably not visit this particular hotel in the future. Very busy place with not-so-great service. It's hit and miss -- great in some aspects, poor in others.

Loved this hotel and beach! Staff was extremely nice and helpful. However it was a very expensive hotel. Will make this our annual vacation destination. And a plus, found lots of sand dollars and sea shells on the beach.
