I had been to this place earlier also and it seems be the same always, as it used to be earlier strangely no changes at all.
The same service quality, the same room keep up and everything.
No toiletries in room except soap, room curtains useless.
The only thing that is good is food!
For a night and the deals provided on line . I give it an average rating else avoidable!

The Best Hotel during our visit to Sikkim. We stayed in their suites. I've to say, the room were really well maintained. The Room service was excellent. The Hotel owned Restaurant was good with reasonable price.
The bathrooms seems little old nevertheless, the stay was pleasant.

"Magpie" is a budget class hotel where comfort, luxury and hospitality knows no bound. Me and my friends had booked both magpie properties (Magpie,Gangtok as well as The Chestnut Retreat, Pelling) Both the properties have excellent Hospitality. Great staff that know the true value of customer service,Most friendly and helpful receptionist, Special Mention for the Restaurant first class service. M.G road is in 5 min walking distance. The bedroom was spacious and very comfortable with exceptional service.I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future.

Lovely and great first impression of the hotel. Fourtunately everything about the hotel was exceptional, it was clean, spacious, comfortable with great service.The best part was M.G. Marg is very close. Special mention (Mr. Rehan from reception area was very helpful)I was very pleased with my stay. :)

Best Property with Best deal. Excellent Service, Rooms are neet & clear, food quality waooo - Excellent. Specially staff are very friendly and supporting. Mg Mall Road is very closer, its just take 4/5 minutes walking distance from hotel door. I'll highly recommend this property.
